If Teddy B. Does the Rodgers slide to 16, do you take him?

No doubt about it.

Possible franchise QB trumps every other pick you could make. We're not going to win the Superbowl this year. I'd rather see the team competitive for years after Romo retires (which is coming soon) than see our defense slightly and temprorarily improved with a one dimensional DT

I heard he was very skinny. That's why some are shying away from him. Or so the smoke says.

i have heard that too but it is so tough to say from my armchair :)

the reality is that we are all just guessing and teams actually making the pick will have several fold more info than we do, they will have had pro day to see him, a private workout, medical evaluation, etc

unlike RG3 he ran a pro system and is a pocket passer first and does not seem to take hits or have a history of injury

Did Romo even have a pro day?

I don't think so. I think he just threw passes at the combine. Wasn't an active participant in the combine, was just there to throw passes to the WR's.

We would be out of our minds not to take Bridgewater if he slides. There is certainly a chance he could slide too.

With Tony's back being an unknown, you gotta take Teddy at 16 if he makes it that far.

lol, no. So many people are desperate to have a guy come here and sit on the bench for years. Let these young guys play. Do you think he left school early, had a "pro day", etc. so he can report directly to some 8-8 team's bench and not pass go? Let him go somewhere he can play. He doesn't want to come here.

What kind of nonsense is this? Unless your last name is Manning you dont have a say in where you "want" to go coming into the NFL. Theoretically if Bridgewater or Manziel slide and the Cowboys draft them they'll be holding a clipboard for all of 6 weeks before they are starting.

Taking the BPA isn't really rebuilding, I don't think. At 16, Teddy would be the BPA on most boards.

You rebuild with a Rookie 1st round choice @ QB.

Unlike some I fully understand Jerrys' ramblings and he is saying he won't take QB in the 1st with that quote.
