I don't think anything changes. A the beginning of the season I had this game down as a win anyway. But what if they lose? I hope it stops the wishful thinking about making the playoffs this year.

The fact is, we have to see how they play, how Williams affects the defense, how getting Wilson and Hooker back helps or if it helps. If we see WRs or TEs wide open on 3rd and long again, then we have to expect it will be a season long problem which will lead to more losses.

Also, the offense has not looked great the last two game, specifically the OL. If that continues then again, expect more losses down the road.

Honestly I think we are already there. It's why RT is all of a sudden an open competition, they are giving guys an actual chance to see the field over a player who wont be here in 2026.

A loss to LV puts you at pretty much puts you mathematically out of it, but you're already basically at that point unless a team like Philly completely implodes down the stretch. You lost to Arizona so we know this team is capable of losing to anyone on the schedule. There are enough pieces on this roster to give us some hope for 2026, but winning anything in 2025 is a longshot at best. Win or lose Monday night really wont change much for the Cowboys other than giving fans slight hope going into the Philly/DET/KC stretch. Win this one and against Philly then we can talk about making this a season again, but as things stand right now you're 4 wins back of Philly with 8 games to go. Thats a massive ask to come back from.

We lose to the Raiders, then they will be tanking unintentionally. Other than that, Jerry will still love our nuts and bolts and we will start doing the math on who needs to lose so we can get a higher pick.

I think we beat the Raiders. Dak historically plays well against Zone defenses and the Raiders play more zone than any other team in the NFL, I think upwards of 80% of the time. They aren't completely inept on offense. Jeanty has shown he has talent, Tucker is a decent WR, and Bowers is a top TE, but Geno has not been playing well which hurts everyone else on offense. I think we can outpace them offensively. I don't know what to expect from us on defense. If the defense plays the same I still think we win but I won't have confidence for the rest of the season, going forward.
