If the Cowboys don't beat the Raiders, what's next?

And I was fine with a 6- or 7-win season before the season started, even before the Micah trade. First-year head coach with Eb as the DC, new offensive line, unproven running game, and no notable strengths on defense...so this team was never going to muster a deep, magical playoff run. That was asking too much. This particular season was always about building for the future.

As I said at the beginning of the season, if Schotty could finagle 8 wins out of THIS team, he immediately deserved a long-term extension....because many of us knew that 8 wins was going to be a real challenge.

Nothing has changed. And it doesn't matter if the Cowboys win tonight or not, nothing changes. Well, if the Cowboys can't beat the Raiders, that would be another good indication that this roster needs A LO

So, they should try new schemes and new combinations of players....a full evaluation of the roster. Anyone who underperforms should be released at the season's end. No use in keeping deadweight.

if we lose to the Raiders, they wont need to try to purposely lose games. That will happen on its own and we would end up with a top 3 pick. By the way, all of the sudden losing to the Bears and the Panthers isnt looking as pathetic as it once did. Dont get me wrong.. we should not have lost to those teams IMO, but both are in the playoffs as of today, I believe.

If the Cowboys don't win this coming game Monday night, we'll move on to the next one and hold hope for a win. Nobody wants to see losses, although, they happen to every team in the NFL -- some more than others. I expect this team to do all they can to emerge victorious in each and every game they play. Tanking is for losers. We know Jerry, the players and staff feel the same way. Go, Cowboys!

I think this is the post of the day. You don't defend yourself, most fans don't mind a little back and forth. They give it as well as they take it....so, pull that wedgie that @dupree89 gave you and man up. Go Cowboys!!

If the Cowboys lose tonight, not much changes. We still won't win the division, we still won't make the playoffs. Maybe we get a better draft position next year.
