If (when), the cowboys win many of the naysayers will go away. But I know many will stick around and make excuses for the Pats. Right now I wonder why the game should be played at all, you would think the cowboys were the 0-5 dolphins and there is no need. If the cowboys win you will hear this, "It was an important game for the Cowboys only.", "Its a marathon not a sprint", "If they meet in the SB that is the only result that counts", "The cowboys still haven't played anyone, so what if the Pats took them lightly". This season will be a weekly test for the cowboys a win or a loss while important from a standings point of view will make this team better one way or the other. Remember a good team beats the opponents it is supposed to beat and is supposed to good enough to beat some of the better opponents on its schedule. This is the NFL, not the BCS where strength of schedule and who you have beaten decides final rankings. On that note go cowboys please smackdown the self entitled New England fans, who after a 3 SB and 1 WS thinks that the 2 major sports nerve center runs through them.

PS-I some may not agree but McGwire was caught with less incriminating evidence then Belicheat and will probably be black balled out of the HOF for the next 10 years, and both offenses have an effect on the integrity of the game in each respective sport.

intersting thought, make me wonder if BB will get into the HOF now that he was caught. The NFL may have brushed this under the rug, but will the HOF committee?
