IF the eagles play the saints who will we go for?

Despite what the Eagles did to us, I'd rather play the Eagles again than the Saints.

The Eagles have Garcia and Westbrook...we aren't supposed to let their running game work...we're supposed to do some things to contain Garcia, and we're supposed to cover their receivers.

The Eagles also have a defense that other teams have run against and found success against.

The Saints have Brees, Deuce, Bush, and their receivers.

I like our chances against the EAgles better.

If the outcome of the game didnt affect Dallas, I would easily root for New Orleans, as I like Payton, and alot of their players. But I dont want to see NO in the playoffs. At first I did, but after seeing the way this defense has played of late, not to mention the fact that they still know alot of our playbook, I would much rather have another shot at the Eagles. I have no doubt that if we play them again, the outcome will be very different.

In the first place, why would Cowboys "hate" the Saints? The Saints simply killed the Cowboys because they were better that day. You have to admire what Peyton has done.


The Eagles on the other hand, should harbor no love in any Cowboy's fan heart. None whatsoever.

As a lifelong fan of the Cowboys and a Saints fan since moving to south Mississippi in 1969, there would be no sweeter pairing for the NFC Championship game than a Dallas/New Orleans rematch. I am always conflicted when those two teams get together, but that is how I hope it turns out every year.
