If the Giants win today and come to Dallas next week wouldn't they be the favorites?

Vegas doesn't ascribe to the narrative. Dallas is, will be and has been the favorites to come out of the NFC. Their odds were about 5x that of the Giants.

Wait up. "Vegas" is just a reflection of who is betting more heavily on whom... real people with real money, taking everything in and deciding who they like and by how much... odds, as a result, are most definitely affected by "the narrative" that is playing out there.

That's a myth it's been accomplished 17 times

Doesn't matter. It's far from a guarantee either way.

I believe the Cowboys are the better team. The better team won't lose 3 straight times.

That's not entirely true... The opening line has nothing to do with how the betting is going since there isn't any betting going on at that point. Most bookkeepers use a separate licensed odds making service, which rates teams based on mathematical equations. Once the opening line is posted you will see it move sometimes, which can be influenced by a large number of bets on one side or the other.

It's happened 17 times. The Cowboys were the last team to do it
I saw where since 1990 and this format, teams have faced each other 19 times with one winning the 1st 2 match ups. The team who had won the 1st 2 went on to win 11 times and the 0-2 team has won 8.

Packers or Giants, they should be the ones concerned. The Cowboys are going to be more rested and healthier than Green Bay, and if it's the Giants, Dallas will be full of vengeance.

Didn't specify "opening" line. Maybe someone else did.

You will see that opening line move almost immediately, if real betters are motivated in a certain direction.

That's fair. I assumed we were talking about the opening line, but I can easily see how people could see it both ways.

Cowboys just opened as 4 point favorites against the Packers at Westgate Sportsbook.
