We would be tied for the 6th spot, not sure how the tiebreakers work. Point is, there is alot of ball left to play. 5-4 next week wouldnt be so bad. Heck, 5-5 wouldnt be so bad. We have alot of home games coming up and I think we will finish 10-6, have faith.

If they started today we'd be sitting at home most likely.

Our 4-4 record won't keep us out of the playoffs. Our undisciplined, heartless, lack of execution play will. Yea, we're still firmly in the playoff hunt, but what makes you think we'll go 6-2 the rest of the way? That's pretty much what it'll take to get into the post season. Can we? Sure, but not if we play the second half of the season like we've played the first half. These penalties are what you'd expect from a team during the preseason or the first two weeks of the regular season, not right smack in the middle of it. The next 8 games look like this:

@ Arizona
Indianapolis
Tampa Bay
@ N.Y. Giants
New Orleans
@ Atlanta
Philly
Detroit

It's going to be extremely tough to go 6-2 unless things change drastically.

Thank You for seeing the obvious. For a while there I thought I was living in bizzaro world. I keep hearing how we are in good position for the rest of the year. Yeah right, because the Cowboys have demonstrated how well they play and take care of business.

Right.

Had we won today's game, like we should, we would have been in a good position for the remainder of the season, considering we still have 5 home games left. However, today's disaster will most likely put us at home in January just like last year's early-season meltdown against the Skins did.
