If the Saints beat the Eagles on Sunday, will it change your perception of either team? The Cowboys?

You mean how we killed the titans but the colts just won by one point?

No, no change.

Different teams playing.

The Saints are going to be my second team all year. With the division they are in its going to be tough. And why not root for the Saints? Except of course against the Cowboys.

But if they beat the Eagles, I will start considering them as a "for real" team.

And for the Eagles, well I they seem to be just overachieving, though they kicked our butt.

As for the Cowboys, my perception won't change until they are consistently winning. The Cowboys are underachievers.

I can't imagine the Saint beating the Eagles. The only possibility I would allow for is that after the weeklong circus the Eagles have a let down and don't play 4 quarters. I still think they win (the Eagles)...

I would guess that Sean Payton will call a much different offense than we did against the Eagles. You will see some pitchouts, quick slants etc to beat the middle blitz. I'm not saying the Saints will win, but it should be a good game to watch.

This game might be tough for the Eagles. They're really going to have to fight having a let-down after that emotional win Sunday, and the Saints are obviously hot right now and playing at home in front of fired-up fans.

Wouldn't that be great if the Saints pulled it off? :)

Nope.

I just hope in late in the season I am not stuck hoping this team or that team can pull off a win or upset so we can get into the Playoffs.

The Eagles are too well coached of a team to look past any game. They will beat the Saints.

Hey the Saints might win if they dont give up 24 points off of 5 turnovers. I know we sure as heck would have.

Not really one has nothing to do with the other. We put 45 points on Tenn at their house and yet they came very close to beating the Colts at Indy this past Sunday.

Unfortunately, I'm in Chicago until tomorrow. All I've been hearing about is how the Bears are the best team in the NFL ...while they are 5-0 ...I'm still not sure about that yet.

Like the Cowboys, the Saints are a stong offensively. Belive Bush will be a factor that the Eagles must contain. Uncertain about the Saints passing assault.

One plus is that Donte' Stalworth will probably try to raise his game against his former team.

I think the Eagles will come to play and contend well. After that Giants loss, I don't believe that Andy Reid will take any other team lightly. We'll see how this one plays out.

Sean Payton always seems to give the Eagles fits.

True, but I think Jim Johnson will watch film and prepare for the trickery (e.g, screens, shovel passes, draw plays and r***le-d***les). Our defense has been playing 7 man rushes looking to stop the run. That's why I was wondering about the Saints' passing game.

Is Lito all the way back, or was he running below 100% on Sunday? I know Sheldon is good-to-go.

I'm not sure I want to know what that is

I think there may be an automatic mechanism in place to catch those posters who try to use words to disguise bad language. The mere context of the words obvisiouls shows no malice ...in fact it commonly denotes a term used for a designed play.

In this case the term merely sensored a word meant to describe a trick play usually designed for the two WRs to dash behind the QB and exchange the ball ...hoping for one of receivers to make a sweep around either side of the gridiron.

Just a protective mechanism that shields against those who owuld use the term offensively.
