We would have the 2nd overall pick in the draft (depending on strength of schedule calculation). Let that sink in...

at least during the offseason I have lots of other things to keep me busy and don't have to watch incompetence week after week

I wonder what kind of turmoil we're going to have this week?

Can't be any worse than what we've already endured. Garrett will give the same robotic speech he gives every week. He'll talk about how the team scratched, clawed and fought and how proud he is of the players. When he's asked about Dez's performance he'll talk about how passionate he is and how much he loves football.

I have a feeling we're going to finish 8-8 or 7-9 now that Romo's coming back. We're barely losing all these games and with Romo most of them will be comfortable victories. Our remaining schedule isn't exactly difficult either, especially with Green Bay suddenly looking really pourus. We'll likely wind up picking somewhere between 10-15.

Then thank God the season doesn't end today... At least there's still the slightest chance that we will be picking 32nd, and I'll take a slight chance over no chance any day. Regardless, we wont be picking in the top-10, Romo will make sure of that, and I for one am much happier with 8-8 than I would be with 4-12.

If they have pick 32, then they have the 1st overall pick in the draft. Only 31 1st Rd picks this year.

As I have stated previously, we will now win the exact number of games to miss out on the playoffs by one loss. You will then see a statement from Jerry and Mini-Jerry saying 'Jason did an incredible job keeping this team together. We are very pleased with the heart they have shown. Now Rod, what can we say? The guy spent some very late nights in the office, found a few areas that needed tweaked and did one hell of a job turning this ship around. We are extremely excited for 2016 and feel we're a player, or two, away from being great. We had some very bad luck this year but gosh darnit, I'm proud of this staff and these players for showing the heart of a champion. We're gonna get back to work tomorrow and we're so excited for next year.'

You all can thank Tony, ahead of time, for the above. He's gonna do what he's always done...cover up the trash we're all witnessing.

Good.

Too bad we're going to blow it. And have 3, 4, 5 more seasons like this.

I think we'll win 5 or so games meaning we'll pick in the 10-14 range.

I'd hope someone like Jack or Smith slides to us. We need defensive talent, especially at LB.

If the season ended today, I'd have no legitimate excuse for drinking during the afternoon on a Sunday.
