If the season started tomorrow, who's your second TE?

Escobar. They didn't draft him in the second round to sit on the bench.

I don't care where he was drafted, you don't play someone just cuz they were drafted high. If Rosario and/or Hanna are outplaying him then they should be ahead of him on the depth chart. How about the rookie EARN his spot instead of having it given to him?

After last night I would say Witten and Hanna as the 1&2 with Escobar as the #3 the guy isn't ready to play a bunch of snaps.

Hanna. Escobar is going to get reps in certain situations but hanna is a much better pass weapon to exploit

Pittsburgh is losing TEs, almost as bad as we were losing o-lineman last year. Would love to deal them Roasario and pick up a blocking TE for the 4th spot.

Right now Rosario might just be our only F back and our best H back for the moment. I still think Hanna can play H back and some F back given reps. Escobar is lost trying to block. He's got a ways to go. He'll basically be just a move TE/WR. So I vote no on getting rid of Rosario. I don't think we need an inline TE or a FB.

All the receivers are going to look much better with Romo and the starting OL so I wouldn't judge receiving right now unless its knowing the routes, running them properly, maybe getting a few reads right, catching the ball and blocking. That's something to look at on film. If you look at the TEs with Dez, Romo, and Austin on the field then they will look better.

I would have said Hanna before camp started and nothing has happened to change my mind yet...

i think they will use hanna out in the field and escobar in the red zone. smith and rosario will be mostly for blocking
i think there is a good chance we keep all of them on the roster

5 TEs?? Keeping 4 is a ton, but you want to keep 5?

I hope another tightend from another team is signed instead of Rosario. we need a blocking tightend right now witten is the only guy if he is not holding that can seal the edge on stretch runs.

As of right now, I think it's Hanna's job to lose. Others will see their share of plays, but Hanna will get more IMO.

It would help in the evaluation if they actually threw a few passes to the TE's. If their not going to throw to them, you might as well make an OL the extra TE.

all 3 tight ends behind witten are finesse guys. escobar has looked down right soft so far. cowboys need to keep searching for a true blocking tight end if we're going to be a very good outside rushing team.

2 games in preseason:
Witten: 1 target, 0 rec, 0yds
Escobar: 2 targets, 1rec, 3yds
Rosario: 3 targets, 1 rec, 18yds
Cochart: 2 targets, 1 rec, 1yd
Hannah: 0 targets, 0 rec, 0yds

not exactly a lot to base a decision on.
