Do we stick with Brad, or go with Brooks Bollinger?

It's close imo, but I think Brad would get the start and would have a quick hook if he can't get the offense going.

But I hope Tony can play Sunday, that would make winning much more realistic.

If Tony can't go then yes I think you start Brad and have Bollinger listed as #2. Johnson was the least of my concern in the Rams game the overall play of the team offense, defense and special teams was the biggest concern. Brad is not a guy who will carry the offense so it was important to keep the game close but with penalties and turnovers, poor run defense it put Johnson in a position of coming from behind something he is not great at but then I doubt Bollinger would fair any better putting the offense on his shoulders.

It will probably be Johnson again.

Bollinger probably doesn't know half of the playbook considering he was brought in towards the end of camp and more than likely just runs the scout team.

I don't even want to think about it. Ugh. We're going to be a .500 team if Romo doesn't go. That's bottom line.

FWIW, Brad is really familiar with the Bucs Cover 2 defense. He should know how to attack it.

If Tony is a no go he's a little ***** or the coaches are little *****es for not letting him play. also if Tony is a no go find something else to do on Sunday cause were not gonna win without Romo.

Bollinger. Go with a younger more firey person win or lose, if he sucks to the 10th degree, then put Gramps in.

Remember 7 days ago when many thought it would benefit this team to sit Tony Romo down for a week?

On the other hand, the Bucs know Brad pretty well. Gruden knows Brad's tendancies and weaknesses...I'd imagine they'll put together an effective gameplan to further limit Brad's weak arm.

Gruden will probably go after the secondary and hope to get some early TDs, knowing Brad probably doesn't have enough to overcome a 2 or 3 TD lead.

True but to win Dallas as a team has to play better. If it was as just Brad Johnson as the reason we lost I would agree to put Bollinger in but with all the mistakes taking place from many player and key players at that it is hard to put this all on 1 guy. Dallas has to come together as a team and I hope the players take upon themselves to do so

If Tony is a no-go, we quick kick on first down, play field position, and hope for a defensive or special teams score.

Brad may know how to attack the Bucs but they also know how to attack him.

Start Bollinger

You're overreacting and I'm shocked.:D

But seriously, if Romo doesn't play, it will be a functionality problem. Not because of pain or risk of further injury. It would simply be a matter of him not having enough strength in the hand to play effectively.

I'm 100% certain he plays next week.

Seriously if Tony goes Roy snapped digit IR - Get Drew Bledsoe in here. He is 4 years younger and gives us a chance to win games at least. Brad gives us ZERO chance. At least we will go down slinging it deep with Bledsoe or die in the pocket trying to.
