Guys, if the tapes are true, and walsh has some of the rams pats superbowl thing and others, what should you think the punishment be for the pats and belicheck,

and should the senator spector get involved too and see those tapes before commissioner goodell destroys those too,

my punishment for the pats and belicheck is this;
suspend belicheck for a year, fine him 1 million dollars total,
fine kraft the owner a million, give that money to the players age thing
take away the pats other # 1 draft choice and their 2nd draft choice this year

for the heavy cheating, put their other forfeited # 1 draft choice and their number one draft choice this year at number 7 in first round and their 2nd round draft choice in a pool like a guy suggested, and let other nfl teams get them in a lottery pool.

then, have it where belicheck isnt allowed in the hall of fame, ever,
and if bob kraft the owner is involved, make him answer why to the nfl and fans and the other team owners,
joe

commissioner goodell said he wont take the super bowls away from the patriots no matter what, so to me if the tapes are true, and i think that the senator spector has to get involved to stop goodell from destroying those tapes,

that way goodell has to do something, to clear the intergrity of the nfl

and he cant get away this time with a slight slap on the wrist on belicheck and the patriots, it still steams me when goodell said to wade wilson are held accountable, and have to set a standard, so he took him away from 5 games in nfl, and he took away 33% of his paycheck, but with belicheck cheating, he didnt do as much, or take away games so belicheck couldnt coach, or make him pay 33% of his paycheck like he made wade wilson pay

bilicheat was fined a half a million. But you are right. They need to do something because the league will not survive with it's credibility in tact.

Its bandied about to suspend him for a year.

I say take away #7 and let him coach. With a dedicated lirary this was an organization from Kraft Pioli on down.

You WOULD have to get in out of the hands of the NFL, and into a congressional committee. We all know that the Patriots are ESPN's team, since ESPN resides in Bristol, Mass., and that ESPN runs sports in America. That is why the Pats got a slap on the wrist for cheating in broad daylight, while Wade Wilson got a haymaker for taking a banned substance only because it was in his prescription meds.

If it is found that they cheated in ANY way in any one of their SBs, then ALL of their Lombardi trophies should be given to the opposing teams.

The Patriots should loose a 1st rnd pick for each year they broke the rules.

Bill should be forced to attend a combined 80 hours of the Tom Cofflin "How we won without Tiki" and "How to be winner in NYC" book tour session this summer.

If true, Belichick should get the Pete Rose treatment, a permanent ban from the nfl. No HOF or contact with the team again.

If tapes surface, I submit this punishment:

Goodell already set precedence for penalties. He said coaches must be held to a higher standard than players. If players can be banned for life for drugs (cheating), then Belichick should be held to a higher standard and be banned for life with the ability to petition for reinstatement after a year.

The Patriots should be penalized a 1st round pick in 2009 for intentionally making false statements to the NFL Commissioner which interfered with an ongoing investigation. If the Patriots were under oath they would be charged with perjury.

yeah right, I'm sure this will happen...if any tape exists, it won't once the commish gets a hold of it.

If all of the accusations are true, and this is proven before the draft, they should lose their other first round pick and belichick should be suspended for the first 5 games with no contact allowed with the team until the suspension is served. as arrogant as he is, he really can coach with or without tapes. it would be a shame to see him out of football bcuz he is good for football in the long run. The pats have totally bought into his system and are very loyal. if all coaches/players were as loyal to their teams the league would be much better than it is right now. So in summation i think belichick should get a suspension and a forfeiture of this years first(or next years if the case isnt closed before the draft). football is more interesting when guys like belichick are involved

sorry this was so long

1 year suspension for Bellicheck
No draft choices this year period. No trading into the draft. They aren't allowed to even have a table at the draft this year.
5 million dollar cap penalty for 3 years

The NFL will not let this happen. Nothing to see here, just move along.
