If we had Greg Ellis' sense of smell, what would we be smelling today?

Ah thank he'd sense resignation throughout Cowboy land.
Maybe smell the lingering, languid, lesinniel of surrender.

Sure, Ellis smells that Wade is not the right HC.
He detects the aroma of money that does not make his teammates happy.
Ellis picks up the scent of backstabbing in the lockerroom and the pull in 45 directions of players and the preening, perelent principals that are the front office.
Ellis smells defeatism.

Yea, unto they does the miasma of melencholy machinations and merciless manic mondays follow their Sunday letdowns.

So, today, Ellis can walk on the turf of the new stadium and put his olfactory sense of smell into a semblance of senceatory serenity that he's feeling just as low as the rest.
He takes in the scent of defeatism in the "our coaching staff is in place" and the smell of surrender when he sniffs out inaction when it comes to HCs out there and young -- not old -- players in FA who can help.

Ellis, bless his little elfin brains, knows which way the winds blows. It blows for thee who, surely, can also smell the defeatism and doomatorious direction this odd GM style has taken.

Ellis, thanks for your supposed take on what yew smell.
We all salute you and your sense of smell.:)

Good luck with that... hope it works out for you.

Don't be condensing.

I sometimes hope that the front office comes to the Zone to see how the other half, les gens du commun, react to the madcap ways of the owner/gm/coaches.

If ah could write what was really important and Jerra one day would stop by and read my great offensive and defensive strategies I jus know Jerra would call up and say, "We need you here at Valley Ranch, can you do it?" And I would say, "Let me check with my parole officer and my cranium reader."
Well, if the front office could just read what ah propose they can have it for free and my only compensitation would be the smile on old peoples and kids faces to know their heroes, the Cowboys, have won and all because of me.
It's only a dream but it could happen.

I'm rarely condensing. Usually I'm expanding. I would like for my waist line to be condensing, but CZ takes away all my work-out time.
