if they hire Garrett as HC, I'll be surprised but I'll support it...it does seem he is extremely well thought of and he has been in demand...word is Saban was really disappointed when Garrett turned him down to go to AL as Off Coord...and other teams have wanted him as well

Kordell Stewart was last seen leaving VR with a smile on his face. He said Jerry was very impressed with his ideas on how he would utilize Romo and TO together with both sharing time at the QB, Slot, and WR positions. We're going to have two slashes next year!

We should at least wait another 10 days to at least interview Rivera. If he shuts down the colts and we have already hired a coach we all will be wishing we waited for this guy. It's only a few days.

If thats the criteria..... we already had guys here that accomplished the same thing.

But maybe that is a good test since the Colts most always have struggled against a 3-4. Lets see how it goes from a 4-3 in that game.

The way this Garrett thing is going down..I would rather have Zimmer as a hc than Garrett. All I'm saying just wait a few days and interview the guy. We did shut the Colts down but if the Bears do it on the big stage in a Super Bowl I would be pretty intrigued with Rivera. Use that game as an interview.

Well, it's not like he hasn't been thinking this over for several years now. Every single year has brought out the "will Bill be back" drama. Obviously this hasn't just been a 2 or 3 day decision-making process.

1. I wasn't referring to the "if he shuts the colts down" part when I posted the . I was referring to the "we should wait till after the superbowl part and interview Rivera" part.

2. I wouldn't hire or NOT hire anyone based on ONE game. Zimmer's D did good vs the Colts this year. Yay. If his D's had had more games like that he'd still be here "in some capacity". For 7 years he couldn't develop anything kind of consistent pass rush. If you, or anyone else, for one second thinks he's a better DCoord then Rivera then you need to stop watching football cuz you don't know a thing about it. Watch one of those cooking shows or something.
