So far I like what both Durde and Whitt have gotten out of their units
Keep Quinn (as DC & assistant HC) and promote Moore to HC. McCarthy can go study some more analytics in his basement
yes Joe whitt comes for the same line..but lets just trying hard for jerry to open his wall safe and keep these guys here for more then year..
Why would we lose him
He wasn’t a great HC and why would he not stay here to be a DC
Doesnt help us if Quinn gets a HC job
MM missed the analytics on clock management class
This ^^^^^^ !
I saw more clock issues from Fat Mac not calling TO at the end of the half. He's got a mental block on time management. Not sure KM is HC material but if he doesn't get a promotion he'll be gone anyway.
I don’t see teams lining up to make him a HC
He was a 500 coach with Atlanta and they had a really good QB and one of the best WR in the league
why is kellen better under MM , and was terrible under garrett ?
isnt he the next big thing !?
I assume he was just wanting to run out the clock
But when your offenses is clicking like they were you keep the pedal down
I don’t think he was terrible
But like anything else he’s grown and learned from experience
Well, it's just leaving meat on the bone. At least try to get a FG. If they'd used their TO's they'd have had a minute left on the clock.
He's not going anywhere for now...
He might have figured out he is not a head coach but a great dc.
There was plenty of time to try to put a drive together
Especially when you are just marching up and down the field
I would have called the TO and went for the kill
I don’t like many of his clock decisions at all
There is no shame in that at all and it’s pretty common
They all want to be a HC and you can’t blame them but some guys are just better as a coordinator
And being a good coordinator doesn’t make you a good HC
I wouldn’t hire him as HC
He wasn’t impressive as a HC in Atlanta
Buts he’s shown he can be a good DC
DQ did take his team to a SB.
Quinn will have plenty of interest. The NFL loves retreads and he's not too old + the Super Bowl appearance will still make him an attractive candidate to GMs and owners. Coaches with worse resumes have gotten second chances (ex: Adam Gase, Rex Ryan)
the great unknown
Joe Whitt is the guy.
