We have the red headed mad bomber directing our offense. I think the dome is a better place to play for our passing game.
I watched Tavaris Jackson on Sunday. If you put the game in his hands, they are probably done.
Put Newman on Berrian. He's dangerous. They have one guy (Elshinko?) who could give our defense trouble. Put a spy on Jackson. He hurt Atlanta by running up the middle. He had some big runs.
Adrian Peterson fumbled three times. I think we can force some against him.
Take away the deep ball and Elshinko and most importantly...
Stop Adrian Peterson
Plus,
Pat Williams might not be back for that game. Our big offensive line should be able to exploit it.
Romo has won at..
Green Bay
Detroit
Chicago
He just needs to win at Minnesota to be 4-0 in the North's stadiums.
Their crowd wasn't even loud.
BUT..
You have to get in first. Beat the Eagles. End it!
Not many points I would debate but stop Adrian Peterson for 1 doesn't happen unless he doesn't touch the ball and stop Adrian Peterson as your 3rd thing to do against the Vikings, higher on the priority list please?
You don't just stop Adrian Peterson like that. He's going to gash you if they can stay in the game and continue running the ball. No matter how you game plan and what you put up against him defensively, if given enough opportunities to run the ball AP will gash you. He'll break 3 tackles, he'll bounce one out. He'll run into the pile and just when he's supposed to be toast he blows by you. He's so forceful that you know they are going to run and they just do. Their o-line is something to be reckoned with also.
You have to get up on that team quick and that's no easy task since they have a very good defense. You'd obviously like to do that against any team but especially this one to keep the ball in the air more than in AP's hands. Especially if we turn that ball over it's a recipe for disaster. Not that we shouldn't be able to beat the Vikings, we should be able to beat anyone. But that guy will beat you even when you have them and him beat, he finds a way. As we saw against the Ravens, this team is very susceptible to defensive and offensive miscues. A force like that will only exploit it more.
I'll take Chicago instead anytime. Vikings are just as physical and opportunistic on defense anyways. The only thing is the weather. This team can play in cold weather. We'll be facing the Vikes anyways. I'm going to hate seeing Zach Thomas trying to tackle Adrian Peterson. Then again, we need to beat Philly, this thread is not relevant yet.
