Can we please play the Bears? Kyle Orton is an abomination. I think we can put up enough points to win that one regardless of the weather......

Trent Dilfer just said we would be one and done in the playoffs. Do the Bears, Vikings, and Cards not have their flaws also?

First off, we have lost the past 8 season final games. So I hope the team actually focuses all week and shows up to play this weekend.

Who do we want to face -- Vikings or Bears? I would say we match up more favorably with the Bears. But I am not sure playing in negative 30 windchill is such a good thing.

Dilfer really likes the Cowboys and Tony Romo. He thinks Romo is one of the very best players in the NFL. I agree with that statement.

He probably feels like he has to say that. He does work for ESPN.

We have the red headed mad bomber directing our offense. I think the dome is a better place to play for our passing game.

I watched Tavaris Jackson on Sunday. If you put the game in his hands, they are probably done.

Put Newman on Berrian. He's dangerous. They have one guy (Elshinko?) who could give our defense trouble. Put a spy on Jackson. He hurt Atlanta by running up the middle. He had some big runs.

Adrian Peterson fumbled three times. I think we can force some against him.

Take away the deep ball and Elshinko and most importantly...

Stop Adrian Peterson

Plus,

Pat Williams might not be back for that game. Our big offensive line should be able to exploit it.

Romo has won at..

Green Bay
Detroit
Chicago

He just needs to win at Minnesota to be 4-0 in the North's stadiums.

Their crowd wasn't even loud.

BUT..

You have to get in first. Beat the Eagles. End it!

Give me Minnesota in the dome. Chicago is a worse football team, but we shouldn't place our team in cold weather any more than necessary.

Not many points I would debate but stop Adrian Peterson for 1 doesn't happen unless he doesn't touch the ball and stop Adrian Peterson as your 3rd thing to do against the Vikings, higher on the priority list please?

You don't just stop Adrian Peterson like that. He's going to gash you if they can stay in the game and continue running the ball. No matter how you game plan and what you put up against him defensively, if given enough opportunities to run the ball AP will gash you. He'll break 3 tackles, he'll bounce one out. He'll run into the pile and just when he's supposed to be toast he blows by you. He's so forceful that you know they are going to run and they just do. Their o-line is something to be reckoned with also.

You have to get up on that team quick and that's no easy task since they have a very good defense. You'd obviously like to do that against any team but especially this one to keep the ball in the air more than in AP's hands. Especially if we turn that ball over it's a recipe for disaster. Not that we shouldn't be able to beat the Vikings, we should be able to beat anyone. But that guy will beat you even when you have them and him beat, he finds a way. As we saw against the Ravens, this team is very susceptible to defensive and offensive miscues. A force like that will only exploit it more.

I'll take Chicago instead anytime. Vikings are just as physical and opportunistic on defense anyways. The only thing is the weather. This team can play in cold weather. We'll be facing the Vikes anyways. I'm going to hate seeing Zach Thomas trying to tackle Adrian Peterson. Then again, we need to beat Philly, this thread is not relevant yet.

Do the Giants have anything to play for this weekend? Home field is wrapped up b/c of the head:head?

That is correct Sir! Home field is wrapped up for them so other than momentum and working out some quirks they have nothing to play for.

Talk about a team that just decides when to handle its business and does so. Brandon Jacobs is a key cog to that team.

They're so focused after that 4th quarter that it would not surprise me if their depth wins this next game anyways.

:lmao: If that were Dallas, akin to last year, we would be called soft and December duds. Instead, the Giants, would could potentially have a worse record this December than we did last December are "simply deciding when to handle business and doing so".
