If we win against Philly - we win out!

Everyone is very down and I totally get why. It was depressing to see the falcons game. But really Philly is the best team we play the rest of the year. It will be hard but I believe we will have a much better showing against Philly and may even win it.

If we do, we will run at least 4 wins off in a row! Then Zeke is likely back and with him I'm sure we take the last 2. That gets us into the tourney and anything can happen then.

Hold your head up guys. We still have a decent chance to get in the playoffs this year.

After last week's loss, this game is now a fork in the road for the team for this season.
And a L means stick a fork in on the season before Thanksgiving.

It is pretty rare we see any Dallas team under Garrett come out and play angry and with their hair on fire.

If there is one game for them to come out and play like that, this would be it.

But all too often, as we have seen, in the playoffs plus the one and dones over the years, we don't seem to respond well to that kind of pressure.

I do think we will put together a win streak afte this game, either way.

Everyone needs to be prepared for a bad outcome this week-that’s why they play the games-in case we get beaten. But if we can win 3 or so in a row afterwards, with Zeke on the horizon, we will be in the discussion.

Even if we lose to Philly the next 3 games (Chargers, Commanders, Giants) are very winnable and might be the easiest stretch of the schedule. Assuming Lee and Tyron stay healthy I think we can beat Oakland, then Zeke comes back for what will likely be a must win game in Seattle. I think we can lose 2 more and be in realistic wild card contention, assuming we beat both teams that could contend for a WC spot in Washington and Seattle. Obviously I'd like to win out too but realistically I think we can drop one of the Philly games and the Oakland game. The 3 game stretch mentioned above is what is "must win." That said, the second Skins game scares me.

and than next week is a must win and must win and must win. we get it.

here is the thing tho, lose and its a wasted season and some of us were right. Win and every win after is a must win and an uphill battle to get right where we will land anyway. Wasted season. Thank you and have a great day.

If we were not 5-4 looking up at three or four other teams for a possible wildcard, I might actually care.

A loss here starts us having to literally depend on getting help to make the postseason.

For all intents and purposes, this is a playoff game anyways.

Best the conference is likely to offer. A loss here, at home, indicates that even if we somehow luck into the playoffs all it will do is be another participation ribbon.

The 3 game stretch mentioned above is what is "must win."

This one is must win for those to even matter.

Season is on the line Sunday IMO.

We won't recover from another loss.

That is how I am thinking as well.

Perhaps they might shock us and then mount some sort of fruitless win streak that gets them to 9-7 or something and still watching the playoffs at home.

But all that matters is that they lived up to the t-shirt slogan. FIGHT. BATTLE.

Then we can have an offseason where they admire themselves for their grit and determination to persevere through the Elliott suspension and the Lee/Smith injuries.

And screwed up their draft picks.

Remember that "rallying cry" in 2015? Good times.

Wow, that's pretty doom and gloom considering we dismantled the Chiefs a week ago when we have our full roster of healthy starters. We need to win without Zeke and Lee, but if we "luck" into the playoffs and are healthy with a fresh Zeke it is foolish to think we couldn't make a run, even with bland coaching. Even if we lose to Philadelphia that is only 5 losses. You could lose another and still go 10-6, and you have very winnable games coming up. This isn't 2015 where we were praying that we could get to 7 wins and luck into the playoffs. Also, if you look at the schedule a lot of these top teams are playing each other in the coming weeks, so the landscape will shift in our favor one way or another. This isn't looking at things through rose colored glasses, it's realistic. A loss here at home without 3 or 4 of the top 6 players on your team doesn't mean crap when you could have all of them back if you make a playoff run.

Beat Philly, then I will be inclined to believe we can win enough to make the playoffs. But still need a little help from other teams losing.
Lose to Philly, we are not out mathematical. But will basically be out. We will need to win out and / or get a lot of help by other teams imploding as well.

But as has been mentioned, we may be one and done. Our hope would be Zeke will be back and fresh and plays angry (in a good way angry) to propel us with playoffs wins.

However, that is way too far away. We just need to win the next game first.

And all that higher draft pick meant was we took an injured player in the second round knowing he would be a redshirt at the very best.

Jerry already has his built in excuses and Jason's got his new t-shirt slogan....FIGHT pt. III
and we know sequel's are never as good as the originals. Maybe a change of author's (coaches) can make part 3 a hit

We are not likely to have our full roster of healthy starters for quite some time.

And I have a feeling we look back at the Chiefs game in the offseason and suddenly it does not seem all that great in retrospect. It was a W, but in terms of the playoffs and what needed to get done, it is far down the totem pole. Moral victory versus a damaging loss to a conference rival the following week.

We need to win without Zeke and Lee, but if we "luck" into the playoffs and are healthy with a fresh Zeke it is foolish to think we couldn't make a run, even with bland coaching. I am not convinced 10-6 is a mortal lock for the playoffs. 9-7 definitely does not cut it.

The Panthers, Saints, Rams and Seahawks could easily take the two division titles and the wild cards themselves. Each is at least a game up on Dallas as it stands right now. That is not even factoring in the Falcons who own a tie breaker advantage due to conference record and head to head.

I don't think Jerry Jones does the t-shirts.

Garrett comes up with those slogans. Then Jerry sends it to the marketing department so they get sold in the Pro Shop and online.
