If we're not stopping the run at a better rate with all the attention to the DL then what?

Coog, while it may be time consuming, if you somehow have access to the All-22’s, you’ll see that MOST OF THE TIME the LB’s did NOT fill the proper gaps. Not say the DL is free from blame, but there are many instances where Clark is doubled, Osa has occupied his gap/guy, and there are wide open gaps where the LB is supposed to fill…and just doesn’t do it.

I know this will be hard to believe, but the Titans traded Murray and a seventh-round draft selection was traded to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a sixth-round draft selection. Yes we made that deal.

I’m not expecting doomsday defense but just with the addition of Wilson and Overshown this D will be much better. Throw in the pocket pusher Williams and this thing will be much better. The fear is Flus just isn’t good of putting this thing all together….

Williams is a great run stopper but stopping the run isn't a one man task. We might be a little better but we are still going to struggle until we get better LBer play.

If we can't be better at stopping the run, what else needs to happen?? Something has to give, LB play needs to be better, but it helps like hell when the DL protects the LBs and allows them to run free, instead of the DL being pushed around into them!!

We've had a rest with the bye week, it's time for this defensive line to play with some grit and act like they want to play better. It just doesn't mean look good in a few games then completely look bad. We all would like to see consistency, something we haven't seen in a while!! Please give your thoughts!!

LB needs upgrading for sure.

And I think the DC is mediocre.

I really enjoyed the Monday night game between Filthy and the Fakers because we actually saw what good defenses look like.

This DLine should make everyone's job a little bit easier.

Williams is a great run stopper but stopping the run isn't a one man task. We might be a little better but we are still going to struggle until we get better LBer play.
