If you could have 1 former Cowboys player for the rest of the year in his prime...

Who would it be? I'd sell my soul for mid-90s Erik Williams. The guy was on his way to becoming the greatest OT ever.

Staubach! I wouldn't be as worried about the QB getting pounded as much because Roger could move and "MADE" things happen with his mobility.

I'd say it would have to be someone on defense..a ball hawk in the secondary. We still have the penchant to give up the big play.. almost puttign Proehl in the HoF.

I dont believe any one offensive player would solve alot of problems with the line as a whole that we have. Not when we see DT's virtually steal the handoff or blitzers drill the QB before he even gets 2 steps back.

Without any hesitation at all...#12.

If you never saw him play in his prime, you missed a once-in-a-lifetime player.

Don't know if you've seen Staubach play but he was great. He was the master of the shotgun and his mobility would have negated some of our O-LIne problems. I think our D is good enough to hold up their end of the deal right now and the only other problem I can see is our Kicker. Unless you want to go get Rafeal Septien, I think Roger would be the guy, IMO.

I think I'd want Michael Irvin.

Three multi-dimensional receivers with Bledsoe is scary to me.

For the rest of this year? Our weakest position is probably LT and we had a couple of decent ones so I would go with one of them.

Oh sure I saw him play.. I've been a die-hard fan since 1970.

Is the D good enough though? We saw them almost give it away again at the end yesterday except for our offense shockingly enough getting it back.

Plus if Roger had zero repoire with our particular players at the moment how could he come in and be super effective? Hell he might even get concussed with our line before the 1st quarter was over. ;)

All things being equal Roger would be just fine. He would be the least of my worries. Our D has been put in bad situations all year by bad offensive plays. Look at that lame int Bledsoe threw toward the end of the 1st half. He way over threw Glenn. And that tipped pass against Washington. How does a QB who is that tall get so many balls batted down at the line?

That kind of thing puts the D in a bad spot.
