Hope I'm wrong but after RD2 it looks like a draft where we got smaller and slower. Mostly guys who are limited to role player status. Several teams drafting around us had drafts I prefer.

That's not to say they won't be really great in their role, but I just prefer to mix it up on day 3 with some guys with down-the-line potential to develop into more. We mixed it up last year and it's one of the things that made '16's draft so compelling.

I don't see this. Slow in my viewpoint is Witten.

The Cowboys nailed it. This draft was a massive success. Having Charlton and Awuzie fall to them was unexpected; and trading up to get Woods was my favorite move.

Remember, the 5th we gave up to get Woods will be cancelled out by us getting some comp picks from this year's free agent losses. He didn't cost a thing, really.

In the draft, you aren't just looking at your present needs, but also at the future. In 3 years when Dak and Elliott are in their primes, this very young team around them right now will be seasoned and ready to dominate.

I know, I was just referring to New England's team in 3 yrs with a 43 year old Brady.

Marinelli must feel like a kid on Christmas Day with all his new toys
dont forget the best part- Drew giving Philly a smackdown witnessed by the whole country that they will never live down
You could just see it on his face how much he was loving that. I thought it was great but I hope Philly doesn't decide to put it on repeat in the locker room from now till we play.....

Yeah, Belichick has the Pats in 'win now' mode trying to squeeze the last few ounces of life out of the Brady era.

Given what the Pats did last season, and coming from 25 points down in the Super Bowl, I wouldn't be surprised if they make the Super Bowl at least 1 more time before Brady hangs it up.

This a a very nice draft without a doubt especially considering we were drafting late in every round.

Can we say that Chaz Green might be the most important player on our roster that was not mentioned today?

This is likely the reason Dallas didn't get OL today, feeling good about Chaz.

My only problem with this draft was that it was in Philly. I think I wore out the "mute" button on my TV remote from whenever the Eagles made a pick and they started singing that Fly Eagles Fly song. Ugh.
