Cowher could never work with Jerry Jones, so it won't ever happen. Not many of today's coaches could work with Jerry. I still have a feeling that Garrett (barring another offer) is the successor.

If Garrett goes, I think that JJ may reach to the college ranks for the successor.

He hasn't had 1 "great" year. He had a hot streak to start his first season, and since then the lack of discipline, poor practice habits, lack of accountability and feeding of egos has slowly degraded a very talented roster into what we witnessed the last two weeks of the season.

There has been one trajectory since he took over. There is nothing in his past or the current makeup of this team that suggests this will magically reverse itself.

Ryan has been passed up for HC opportunities before, but I don't understand why. He really knows defense, but I'm not sure of his other qualities.

Some have said that he gets blackballed for being Buddy Ryan's son.
