What makes anyone think any of these men would WANT to come to Dallas?

What fight and heart does the team show - that all they need is a tweak of a scheme?

This looks like a reclamation project - it is personalities that run the franchise, stubborn or stupid, it's just personalities, not football minds. They don't even appear to be a team on the highlights.

Because it's the most reputable franchise in the NFL. There is a reason why people want to coach or play for the Yankees, Cowboys, and Lakers. They are the most famous, reputable and lucrative organizations. Dallas has the potential to sign anyone because money and fame talk

I don't think Cowher would come here, and don't think I would want him anyway.

That being said, the only way Shanahan will ever even win another playoff game, is where he is handed a team that has just come off 2 consecutive Super Bowl wins and the Coach is leaving. Kind of like Switzer. Other wise, old man Shanahan will be very lucky to have one more winning season, before he is put out to pasture for good. Now he might make it as a OC but, i think that is even asking too much for a coach that let the NFL game pass him by.
