If you had to pick 1 QB in this draft (besides Bridgewater, Carr, or Bortles since they will for sure be gone by our pick) and regardless if you think we should draft a QB or not, who would it be?

My pick would be David Fales. Love this guys athleticism, the touch he shows on passes, and his pocket presence.

Go ahead and take Manziel off the list as well.

I like McCarron the most in this draft class, and maybe Zach Mettengberger.

If you take the top 4 out, then I am taking Murray in the 4th (or so)...I think he has the make-up of a good NFL QB.....he just has to get healthy again....

I would like David Fales. I'd take flyers on either Keith Price or Jeff Mathews in the 7th round since we have 3 picks there.

If all that fails Mariota and Winston may both come out next year.

McCarron or murray in the 2nd. Shaw much later like 6th or with a 7th.

Jeff Mathews Cornell 6-3 #225 still touted the biggest arm of the group, and it’s a different animal up close than it is on film. His throws rarely lose velocity at the catch point, staying firm and tight throughout the flight. He’s a natural deep ball thrower who can finish throws on a line on corner, deep post, and go-routes

STRENGTHS: Good height, big hands and a well-built frame to shake off defenders. Very good arm strength and velocity and can make deep throws with ease. Knows how to change arm angles and still deliver lasers. Improved ball placement and overall accuracy despite shaky mechanics.
Not much of a rush threat, but a better athlete than expected with mobility to pick up tough yards and throw on the run. Smart and processes information quickly. Confident and won't play hesitant. Obvious by his play that he puts in the time during the week. Hard worker with strong preparation skills and a team-first attitude. Improved pocked mobility to step up with his eyes downfield.
Four-year starter with top production and holds 45 school and 17 Ivy League passing records

I like Bortles and Carr out of this entire class but going with the question that was asked, I'd probably go Fales as well. Even though I like Mettenberger he'll be sitting a while with his ACL injury.
