The only team I would not want to be drafted by is the Commanders. I consider that franchise to be racist and I would not want to play there under any circumstance. I would have alerted them ahead of time to my feelings as I think that is the honorable thing to do.

My goal to play in the NFL would make just about any other franchise palatable just to reach a dream.

Zach Thomas managed a great career. Others have too. I might not like being drafted by many other teams, but it would not have changed my goals.

I'd immediately become a fan of the team that drafted me. I love the Cowboys but if a team drafted me my loyalty would have to go there cause they're giving me money to live out a dream.

Unless that team is the Eagles. They have no loyalty for you no matter how much you think so. Plus the fans there suck and their breath smells bad.

not me, i would want to play strictly for the cowboys, no other team; and sure not the Commanders, eagles, giants, packers, steelers, 49ers, those teams i would tell dont even bother to look at me;

Not necessarily. Take this draft for example: The Cowboys didn't have a first round pick, and what if you were good enough to go in the top 5? It would be nearly impossible for the Cowboys to move up and get you no matter how much they wanted to.

Now, if the Cowboys pass you by, numerous times, then that's a different story. I would still give it my all to the team that does draft me, like you, but I think once my contract was up, I would not re-sign with that team if I felt I could get onto the Cowboys roster after 4 years or so.

If the Eagles or Skins drafted me, I would retire, plain and simple.

I would play for the Giants, cause Tom Landry did, afterall.

If I couldn't be a Cowboy, then I would hope the Texans drafted me, so my parents and siblings would still be able to see me on a weekly basis, since they show all the Texans games here in SA, as well as the Cowboys games.

As far as letting Dallas win to get to the SB, #%$* NO. My job is to win games and championships. I have 52 teammates (brothers) and all those coaches....as well as the thousands, if not millions of fans who spend their time and money to support us....No way do I take just so THE STAR can get the glory.

I would not sign, I would either wait till the next draft, or wait till the next draft, and while I was waiting I would be getting as close as I can to the Cowboys brass. Probably would not even take a chance in the following year's draft, just wait until the Boys had tryouts and make the team that way.

I would hold an interview and complain I cannot throw the ball or call the plays? The I would say I need to have the ball thrown to me, so i can make plays because thats what I do, make plays. Then I would go out and have 8 games of 40 yards recieving.
