What do you think THEY WILL do with the #1 pick? and what would you do?

They'll probably go Bortles, but I'd go Manziel. Then again, I think Manziel is the greatest high school and college prospect I've ever seen, so my opinion is somewhat skewed.

No way, gotta go Bortles.

thing is, we are all guessing to some degree because there is a lot we dont know that the texans will

to me, bridgewater ran a pro offense, has the measurables, makes good decisions, is accurate, and seems mature

he was the #1 QB going into the season and had a great season

he seems to check off all the boxes for me

I think they draft one of the QB's. If they keep Keenum that'll give them 2 young guys & then Fitzpatrick as the vet backup.

Bortles has bust potential, I would draft Clowney and avoid The Qbs.

There has to be hype around someone for bust. So Johnny Football, that would make sense, but I really don't hear the hype on Bortles.

If you are the number one pick in the draft and have a lousy and/or short career in the NFL then you will be considered a bust regardless of how much "hype" there was about you.

I'd go Bridgewater. But I think they go Bottles.

IMO, when the slotting changed, and capped how much rookies were paid, the bust factor changed a little. I am not saying if a #1 pick sucks, he is not a bust.

If I was the Texans I would try to move out of the overall 1st rd get Extra pick and still pick up a QB like Carr. Johnny Football and Bridgewater to me are risky picks

i would not

reality is, that franchise needs a franchise QB
reality is, one of these 4 QBs will be a franchise QB

evaluate them properly and have faith in yourself/your scouting/your evaluation

I agree I think they could drop into the top 10 get the extra pick and still get one of the top QB in the draft. I'm not sold on the so called 2 top QB in Johnny Football and Bridgewater as an overall #1

It's a difficult decision. They have to get a QB somehow and the top 10 of the draft is where the majority of top QB come from; however, I would just take a QB if I'm not convinced that he the right guy. Once you take one in the top 10, you're basically stuck trying to make it work with him.

They most likely will not get a trade partner to trade down with and will have to use the first pick. I would then take Bridgewater. He is the most NFL ready of the bunch. Manziel is not even to be considered.
