If Young is our QB, what would you think ?

Vince has been pretty good. Still a long ways to go. Titans have to be happy though. The kid never got rattled in college and he seems to stay in control in the NFL. He has a lot of work to do though. I must say i'm pretty impressed so far.

He will make plays, but his downfall will be turnovers. He is a great athlete, but is not a great passer and doesn't always make great decisions. Unless the that changes, he won't succeed at this level.

His first start was against a really good defense. He made some mistakes, but considering he is a rookie with a pretty lousy supporting cast, I'd say he did pretty good. I mean come on, Drew Bennett is their #1 receiver.

I don't think he's going to try to play Michael Vick. Of course, he was a much better college QB than Vick.

He got into a groove for a bit, didn't look bad for a debut. And then we saw why it was hist 1st start.

He locks onto his WR alot, and he isn't faster and stronger than the competition anymore. He needs to work on that.

dude is a ROOKIE making his first start against a VERY agressive defense. Matt Leinart sucked arse today too. Rookie QB's always have issues while their learning. Troy Aikman was TERRIBLE as a rookie. The Titans O-line and defense blow. Get real

I think Young will be a good one. He's still young, but there were times he exhibited confidence and delivered the ball. As he gains more experience he'll get better. I think he'll be much better than Vick (which probably isn't saying much since he's a running back playing QB ).

I'd be concerned about his running at this point. I thought he'd be a natural runner but it seems like he has a lot to learn with regards to the speed of this game. Whenever he'd make some "nice" moves to avoid defenders, it was always backward setting up a negative play.

When given time, he has a nice arm. He can throw to a tight spot but is inconsistent.

Overall, can't judge too much from one game -- or even one season. Just too early to tell. I do like his attitude and genuine enjoyment of the game.

Yeah, if it was Jay Cutler some people would be singing a different tune. Heck, when Cutler went off in one of the Denver preseason games people got excited.

I still say Vince Young is either going to be a huge star or a huge bust, right now he was okay but like someone else says, he needs to get better...im talking hitting the film room and and the practice field right after the game .

That inconsistent throwing is most likely due to the throwing motion he has. I noticed they put him in the shot gun a lot to give him more time; but I think the other reason is to prevent a lot of batted balls t the line of scrimmage he seems to throw the ball from a low point at times.
