LOL, great post, guy.sandtrapp;1369147 said:Sure, I'll get on Board The Wade Train, and I'll support him because I'm a Cowboys Fan.
Then In 2008 I'll support his successor.
Not trying to be pessimistic, just realistic.
(hope i'm wrong)

Are they trying to convince us, or themselves??
Because everyone else is way too dense to come to conclusions on their own. I mean I am just so happy that their are people who are keeping it real.silverbear;1369174 said:Why is it that pessimists ALWAYS say they're being "realistic"??

I think his attitude will be a welcome change here. I think he will get his players to buy into the system because he is humble, but just from what I saw in the press conference he is not afraid to make his point as well. This team will eat up his low key style IMO, particularly TO. I still think that Parcells biggest failing was in his handling of TO. All he had to do was offer him a olive branch when he first got here and TO would of ran through walls for him. So when Wade made a point of saying his name and how he would "work" with him it was a breath of fresh air.LatinMind;1369203 said:ill say it it now and ill say it next yr when dallas falters because of the lack of missed expectations by jerry. wade was the wrong hire, and next yr jerry will be crying at the podium again.
hopefully imw wrong for the cowboys sake but i doubt it

I am not kicking dirt on Parcells grave, because he brought this team back from the dead and made it relevant again. I do think that this was the right time to go/

LatinMind;1369254 said:i agree with everything u said. but me i think jerry settled for this pick. and i really think this guy is toast sooner rather then later. while his defense is aggressive because they move around so much. u think that will work with this bunch of players in dallas? they moved around alot confusing themselves enough before the play and usually ended up out of place which resulted in td's and big gains. this just isnt a smart team. people are expecting same results as SD. but i still firmly believe that the talent level from sd to dallas is overwhelming. starting with the DE's and ending with the lb'ers. and thats what makes the 3-4

i'm thinking Wade could have gotten us 9 wins if not more this year... might even have started Romo game 1 and had the D playing with attitude, not playing scared.
we need to worry about Jason Garrett and co. on offense next year, not Wade.
OL is part of the O.LatinMind;1369283 said:the offense will score no matter what. they have too much talent not to. what needs to be focused on is the OL.
