Wow, thx for the link. Kinda creepy that Spags and I both have the same memories of that game. Yep, that Jimmy was the man here in Dallas. Thx...

It is a good story. I seen some players say he could get in their head even though they knew that's what he was trying to do. And it is one of those types of games.

Reporter : Coach, this is a big game this week.

Jimmy : Big game? They're all big games.

Jimmy didn't let refs or last minute plays decide a game(see 2 Super Bowl victories against Bills) . Jimmy went out and kicked peoples butts and kept kicking them till the game was over.

So for strategy purposes, what does everyone think we should do if we win the toss? Am I crazy to want to see the D out there first?

I'd defer. It'll be nice and loud to start off, and an early stop will make it louder. These guys really roll you up after half-time, so a long-drive (a'la SD last week) coming out of the gate early in the 3rd would be really welcome, too.

I'm usually for deferring but in this case I think I want the ball first. I don't want to get down 7-0 and be playing with a deficit from the beginning. We need to get out to a fast start and score the first points.

No one and I mean NO ONE lives in the past like Cowboy fans. Nothing about today's Cowboys is linked to what "Jimmy Johnson used to say"

If you are going into the jungle to fight a gorilla you bring a big stick! He may have also said that you punch him in the nose! We had a Monday night showdown with the hated Skins in their home park, this may have been 91 timeframe. We'll Jimmy had us come out firing, we brought all the heavy duty artillery that night and left with a win. No ***** footing around taking what the defense allowed, Jimmy was in all out attack mode that evening and quite frankly it was probably the only way that we could get the win. Anyway, this is exactly how we need to be on Sunday. All out attack on offense and take it to them, balls to the wall. No conservative bs to feel them out, punch them in the nose early and it will be glorious!

Anyone else remember that game, was it 91 ?

I like Garrett's famous quote better................................its a process of stacking your good days........................now lets go out there and out process them, who is with me?

HAAAAAAAAAAAAA.......Garrett and his .500 teams are such a joke.
