I used to be the most pessimistic fan in the world, but I'm feeling good. We got Romo back. For all the people that say he masks the coaches inabilities, he's back. For all the people that said he was frustrated with the play called on 3rd and 1 in the game yesterday...he's back to check out of it. For all the fans that say every game is "do or die," he's back to not lose another "do or die" game. Romo knows how bad it hurts to lose, how to live from play to play. How to check out of a ****** Linehan play call. How to make Garrett look amazing. How to scramble and find Beasely. I know the defense has been beyond frustrating, but if they can get a turnover or two like yesterday and hold teams to a touchdown or two, we'll win out. He also won't lose in Green Bay this year.

He's back. Cowboy up!

(Ready for all the people who don't want to watch the Cowboys on Sunday for the next 7 weeks to fire back)

It's interesting to see so many people say it's over and how they won't watch anymore games.
They are lying. They wouldn't be here if they tuned out. They are just so angry and need to vent it towards the team in some fashion.

The psychology of sports fan is a funny thing.

Saying the Cowboys won't lose to GB at Lambeau is a bold claim for a team losing their last 7. I don't think GB is a good team but I don't think it's wise to make that kind of proclamation either.

Yeah. I'm excited to see Romo play. I'm fairly certain the season is over, but hey, I can at least enjoy watching games again. We've been so brutally incompetent for so many games now. It'll be a nice change.

It will be nice to just see a decent QB again. The offense still sucks, but I love Romo!

I hope we beat the hell out of Carolina so Turkey day will be fun!

If nothing else, getting a win in MIA and making Thanksgiving Day more interesting is a win.

For my part, I'm going to take it week by week and see what happens. This season has been cursed so far, and my expectations are very low. But even making things interesting for the last quarter of the season would be a win in my book. This constant losing is brutal.

I think we dug ourselves too deep of a hole to crawl out of so I guess that puts me in the "its over" camp but, I love my team so I will watch every game I can. I hope I am wrong, but I think there is too much going wrong with this team/organization for Tony to save us by himself given our: record, remaining games/schedule, and across the board performance.

I won't go as far as excited. I am happy he is back but I am afraid it is to late and the players didn't take advantage of the opportunities that were there for them. But I am not throwing in the towel either. 2 Down with 7 to play, it can happen.

Romo is back but it's too little too late. Had he only missed 4 games the Cowboys could very easily be sitting at 5-4 right now and in good position to take the division.

Yes it is. A little worried now about Miami, not getting beat, but getting Romo beat. I did not realize until this morning that they hurt Bradford. This season is actually very surreal.

Here is a little tidbit. Our last win back in September, the Texas Rangers were 2 games out of 1st place with 13 to go! That seems like 2 years ago!!

These were probably the same people that said we wouldn't lose to Atlanta.. Or Seattle.. Or the Saints.. Or the Bucs.. Or....

But yet we did.. And speaking of Atlanta weren't they the same tram that got beat by SF with no #1 WR, QB, RB, etc.? Oh how I still remember the excuses that they gave that how could we expect a team missing so many parts to beat a team at full strength but oddly enough SF did exactly that despite being in much worse shape than we are.

Funny how that works.

My fandom has been tested this year for sure. After all I live in Tom Brady country and have to put up with all the greatness of a season they are having coming on the heals of winning it all last year to go along with it. It would be easy to just convert, jump on that bandwagon. But not my style. I will watch my Cowboys play every game this year. I hope for the best and will live with the worst. I want to get this ship righted if not this year the next will have to do. Fire the whole staff and start over? Give Garrett a pass and fire Marinelli and his staff? Keep the status quo? Draft smartly and replace those who do not perform up to standards? Whatever the answer I want Jerry Jones to get it corrected.

Lots of pom pom's in this thread. Let's not take in account that Romo will be rusty and when Romo needed the team to get a few wins, they couldn't. That's the same crappy team he's going to get when he comes back. All we will do is win enough games to break our hearts in the end and screw up a draft pick...

Yep, Romo is back. Here is what I have learned since Romo has been out. That a good to great QB is on your team that guy helps the whole team, even if you have a great OLine and Defense, without good QB play you will flounder and lose. I learned that you have to have a good backup QB,(and I am not saying Cassel is not a good QB) name a better backup than Cassel in the league right now, anyone, because the only one I can think of is Fitzpatrick and he is starting right now. Anyway, no matter how good the backup is he cannot come in the middle of the season and fit right in, with that being said, we need to cut Weeden and keep Cassel and if we have another scenario like this next season watch how much better Cassel will be.
A great coach needs a good, very good or a great QB, or he will have a hard time winning. If you take Brady from Belichek he does not win as much, you see it on all levels of football.

Romo could have played in a wheel chair and looked better than this bunch!
