They say that television rots your brain. I disagree.
While I'm still active outdoors, almost on a daily basis, I'm finding more and more that I enjoy sitting down in front of the television. Sure, it doesn't hurt having a 52" Samsung with HD and DVR...but the real allure that I've found so irresistible is the emergence of the top notch programing of the History Channel and the family of channels that the Discovery Network produces....and to a slightly lesser extent, the Food Network.
When did "educational television" become so badass?
Warriors, Battle 360, Engineering an Empire, Presidents, Planet Earth (Amazing), Mythbusters, Man vs. Wild, Beyond Tomorrow, Future Weapons, Weaponology, Battleplan, Weapon Masters, etc...
....I can watch this stuff all day.
What are your favorites?
