I'm afraid Jerry bypassed scouts' opinions re: Roy Williams trade ..?

Brad Johnson threw a bomb to him, and Williams catches it with one arm.

Brad Johnson throws a fade to him, TD.

Williams is hobbled a bit, but he has been open.

That couldn't have been him begging for the ball in Pittsburgh's endzone, could it?

Williams was open at the start of the play, but Romo never looked over to his left.

It's ridiculous.

Just hand it to him if we are that stupid.

Jerry Jones has been listenting to his scouts.

Felix Jones
Mike Jenkins (Trade up)
Martellus Bennett
Tashard Choice
Orlando Scandrick

Anthony Spencer (trade back in round 1) (picked for Phillips)
Nick Folk
Deon Anderson
James Marten ( Jeff Ireland pick based off Parcells' template for OL)
Doug Free (see above)
Isaiah Stanback (Ireland pick)

Terence Newman (Jerry and the scouts)
DeMarcus Ware (Jerry and the scouts)

Parcells wanted Spears over Merriman and Ware. He wanted Merriman over Ware. Parcells wanted the big DT from Kentucky over Newman.

Jerry Jones has done an excellent job of drafting players this decade.

He gave Parcells the 2006 draft, and look what it got us.

Bobby Carpenter # 18

One of the worst picks ever

Anthony Fasano 2nd

Gone. Talented, but he couldn't block, and he let a TD hit him right in the facemask in the Giants playoff game.

Skyler Green 4th

Pat Watkins 5th

Parcells thought he could plug the FS spot with a rookie. He couldn't.

Pat McQuistan

Parcells said he was our future LT.

He couldn't win the guard job this year, and he couldn't get into the game when our LT had one arm and no hands.

Anyone that judges this trade now is a freaking idiot. End of story. And I have a question for all of you idiots that say this is a bad trade. If Roy catches the winning touchdown in the Super Bowl is it still a dumb trade? I bet you would still say it was because he only caught one touchdown. You people are morons. Please go find a new team to root for.

:lmao2:

Funny... cuz you yourself just judged the trade.

Thats just the way things go. Everybody is overpaid when they get a new contract. The next batch of high profile FA WRs will get more than him...its an endless cycle.

Funny how some people dont comprehend that.

How did I judge the trade? I am willing to let the man play a full season or two before I judge it. Bet I will tell you this if he does catch the winning TD in the Super Bowl then hell yeah it was a great trade even if he never catches another ball for the Cowboys.

Lot of truth right there.

Jerry just messed up trying to find the anti-thesis of the Tuna with Wade. Wade's soft approach has led to a poor camp that left our guys undisciplined, and fragile for the beating they took down the stretch this year. Spent so much time high fiving them and telling them how great they were that he's going to have to take the blame for their terrible performance again. Even if he wins a playoff game, we better not lay an egg after that - or its gonna be on him.
