JJ is not getting it done. I'm sorry but I have waited all season for him to perform. He was gonig to perform when:

- We got past this great D that shut him down
- He got back from his ankle
- In the second half
- When the OL blocked well

You know what? MB III has performed much better and he is running against the same D and with the same OL as JJ. Simply JJ is not getting it done. He may be a one trick pony. I remember last year a couple of announcers pointing out that he got almost all of his big yards on a single play that we were running. Well in the NFL if you can't get yards on all of the plays, against all types of D, then you get exposed and game planned for. Until he proves otherwise I say he is what he is. A young back that can occasionally pick up big yards in certain circumstances. Not a stud young back that can carry a team!

I'm not a person who comes on this board and flames players but on this one I'm calling it as I see it. I'm actually pleased that we were competitive yesterday so I'm not venting about the Denver loss. It hurts, sure, but man could you imagine us playing that game last year? Can you say blow out?

You are just so right. I had three or for posts yesterday where i asked people why JJ is still playing and not MB. MB does look so much better and btw. all those TDs came with MB in on the drive. Maybe theres a relation to it ;)

OL needs the 2006 college draft upgrade...

ala the DL upgrade of the 2005 college draft class.

free agency needs to address FS, maybe WR and K.

I agree, but I think it's not because of the talent assembled as much as it is because of the game plan/plan of attack.

Hos, I think we have to run to set up the pass because of our OL deficiancies (sp?).

We HAVE to establish the running game in order to slow down the opposing defense's pass rush. It's the best way we can protect Bledsoe right now.

By the way, am I the only one that noticed the Denver DL seemed to know when we were gonna snap the ball? They got a great jump off the snap several times. I think either Al Johnson or Drew Bledsoe is doing something that is tipping off the DL as to when the ball is gonna be snapped. I think even the Lions knew when we were gonna snap it, but they weren't disciplined enough to wait that half a second longer before they took off.

I think we pass block better than run block.

That's not saying much.

And the only reason we pass block good is cuz we leave so many in to help. With just our 5 OL blocking, I don't like what I see. Especially on the edges.

Decent points, but we are having more success passing than running and that's with fewer weapons in play because of max protect.

I'm really down on Flo. I don't think he's ever been as dominating as he should be. Now he's hurt. I hope LT is a definite look at item in round 1 next year. There are some good ones in this draft.

Hos, I agree with you. We do pass block better than we run block. We have alot more success passing than we do running.

We need to use the pass to set up the run.

Barber fights because he can. JJ cannot fight for extra yardage when hes hit. Too small. Against a team like Denver you have to matchup for them being in the back field every play

I don't agree with you completely on Flo. I agree he's never been dominating, but he's reliable and consistent.

Compared to what we have at LT now, I'd keep Flo and give him a raise.

You don't realize what you got till you lose it. We lost Flo and now we're seeing how much we had with him. I mean, the guy NEVER needs help. Ever. He may not "Dominate" anyone, but no one dominates him either.

I don't want a Philly mix of run to pass, but I want us to pass. We have too many weapons for teams to cover.

Key, Glenn, Price, & Witten in play.

JJ or Barber in at RB.

No FB. (Can't believe I'm saying that.)

Throttle wide open, stop us if you can. Bledsoe has the gun. Let him fire.

I don't dislike Flo. Not the way you dislike Petitti (j/k).

I've always wanted a LT like Munoz who just destroys a pass rush.

Tucker is playing okay. In fact he's playing about a shot below Flo. I think that's what's so depressing. Look at the LTs in this draft. I'd love to have one and phase Flo out.

I agree with you that he is reliable, but now he'll be coming back from a serious injury. For a guy who wasn't dominating already with the potential to be dominating that's a red flag for me.

I think Flo is perfectly fine with his pass protection. Hell, sometimes he does destroy a pass rush. It's his run blocking that I don't particularly like.

And the one thing Tucker is REALLY struggling with (that Flo never has problems with) is the bullrush. A couple of times he just got driven into Drew Bledsoe. When that happens it really screws up his game cuz he start planting his feet in the ground preparing for a bullrush, then the DE counters by running right by him. Watch yesterday's game again. It happened.

I know Tucker is a heavy guy, but he sometimes plays light. Whereas Flo, you see a guy try to bull rush him and it's like running into a wall.

Tucker is too slow of foot to handle the bullrush. I agree with you on that.

I want more from Flo, but I do miss him.

Thank you finally people are starting to see what I see....Julius Jones is not the same guy and he should get less reps bottom line.

Even the freaking media is saying Barber is the more efficient RB....Come on for Christ sake!.

Now dont get me wrong I hope JJ turns it around butI also want this team to win.
