Now as intelligent as Jerry is ,and we know he is as a business man,and after hearing the fans calling for him to step down as GM, and as other players on all these sports shows say that he's the problem as the GM, and as all the sports media is calling him to step down, I'm very surprised that it hasn't come to his attention that they may have something there, He's not the man for the job ,and the last ten years or so has proven it .

Who ,besides himself is saying he's doing a good job as GM?

Is his ego that big, as to hurt the Team that he supposedly loves?

Again, I' really confused.

Hey Jerry,

IT"S TIME TO GO OUT AND BUY A SADDLE.

I don't get it.....Why are you telling us this? How many Jerry threads are there?

Question..... What do you want us to do about it? huh?

What are you willing to do about it? just sit around and complain? Or are you willing to go and take action?

Yes, Jerry's ego is that HUGE. Everybody knows that if he goes out and hires a GM who has immediate success (2 years in), there's going to be a million fingers pointing at Jerry and people saying, "see, we told you it was you this whole time". I have no doubt Jerry loves this team and wants to win. I also have no doubt he could not handle NOT being in the spotlight.....

I wish I could find the quote but he has said multiple times that when people criticize him and say he cant do something, it just motivates him to dig his heels in deeper.

thats what I remember but I could have completely botched what he actually said.

anyone have a source for his quote?

Well then lets everybody tell him what a bang up job he's doing now. Then we can tell him he should give someone else a chance to shine.:D

If one person calls you a jack ***, you ignore it , if two people call you a jack *** ,you start to think about it, but when three or more call you a jack *** ,it's time to go out and buy a saddle.

Jerry Is a Bad Man!

Jerry wants to win, but it's not his #1 priority. Milking every red cent available out of the Cowboys brand is his #1 priority. That and he loves playing with his toy. He wants to win and he wants everyone to give him congratulations for winning. Its never going to happen though. Jerry has hoisted his last Lombardi because his way doesnt work. We as fans are prisoners until he moves on.

No one's a prisoner here. We're all fans by choice. Prison is not a fun place to be, so if being a fan of this team feels like prison to you, then simply walk out of said prison, and be happier.

If you're confused about Jerry go have about 12 Scotch drinks, put 2.1 billion in your account, 3 Super Bowls in your trophy case and you'll see the world through his freshly cleaned lens.

Can't turn my fandom off like a lightswitch. I'll still root for the team, despite their handicap. The sad thing is, now I just celebrate division championships like I used to celebrate Super Bowl wins.

He's looking for discource about Jerry on a public forum concerning the Dallas Cowboys. Not sure why anyone who is sick of Jerry posts would come in to a post with the name "Jerry" right in the title.

Man this forum is just gotten beyond cynical. If you don't like something someone posts, don't read it. Leave the post. I get it, there are a lot of Jerry posts but going in each one and complaining about the fact that there are a lot of Jerry posts isn't conducive to enjoying a good forum. Neither is belittling posters.

Just my two cents.

What do "division championship" mean?

You forgot to mention - fire the head coach that won you those 3 rings so you can feel like you won them yourself. ;)

I actually think Jerry Jones could do an acceptable job as GM as long as he has the right head coach with the right personality. Jerry needs someone that is more than willing to point out the negatives as it pertains to the players and coaching staff on this team. I was really hoping Jason Garrett would be that guy like Jimmy and Bill Parcells were, but with a bit more tactfulness. I mistakenly thought that Jason Garrett could point out the flaws in this team and persuade Jerry to make the appropriate changes while all the time making Jerry think it was his idea.

I truly believe that you cannot have both your head coach and GM be overly optimistic people and that is what we have here. I can't tell you how sick I am of hearing both Jason and Jerry say after a tough loss how proud they are of their team. We lose games and they only talk about what was good. That is not how you build a sharp and efficient team. You must correct what is wrong and that should consume most of your efforts.

I've been battling cancer for the last five years and I'm really glad that my oncologist doesn't look at things that way. I don't need him telling me that my heart, kidneys and liver are strong if it is the cancer that is killing me. I want the cancer to be his main if not only focus and have him exhaust all efforts in finding a way to get rid of it. If Jason can't do this for Jerry then he has zero chance for success here in Dallas. When you consider the personality of our owner/GM and our head coach it is no wonder we are seeing the same mistakes being repeated endlessly these last three years.

I have been on this board a long time...and I have tried to articulate this point a long time. And this is the BEST and most efficient way I have ever heard it to describe. Outstanding!

if you are still confused about jerry, you clearly havent been paying attention for the last 17 years

jerry is a football idiot of the highest order

al davis only wishes he was as delusional in his last days and jerry is right now

Jerry is a very great business man with a huge EGO.

Doesn't matter what he hears, he isn't ever stepping down. This dude will be on life support, blind and deaf and will still have a live feed of some sort in the draft room and all of the deals going on.

He is smart? Business smart. Common sense? Not so much.
