It really irks me how many so called experts keep talking about how our running game is going to sputter with the "all world" Murray toting the rock in Philly. Im going to very much enjoy watching Randle storm through the monster holes this line provided for Murray last year. We will see bigger plays out of Randle. And certainly McFadden will have some big plays with his speed.

We may miss the physical element of Murray, but I truly believe our Oline will now take on that role and provide everything we need for a nasty running game.

Lets see how many of these cats fess up a quarter of the way through the season as our committee running back tandem is tearing it up every week.

I don't care about any crow I will say when looking at this team top to bottom the only concerns I have is with the running game and the current RB we have. I hope Randle and McFadden go out and play great I'm not anti either player but when you take away a player who represented 40% of the entire offense and now replacing him with players who have had little impact then anyone with some sense would have at least some concerns.

It doesn't irk me, I love it. The more hate and doubt that we get, the better we perform I think.

Its very good fodder to get the RB's and the line pumped up to prove people wrong. The line wants to prove they can create holes for anyone. And Randle will get all the opportunities he can handle to show that Murray did indeed leave yards on the field as he consistently went the wrong way and ran into people instead of around them.

While I think the team is the favorite to win the division it is entirely possible that losing last year's OPoY may cause the offense to regress this year. Hopefully the additions to the defense help soften the blow. It was easy for Randle to come in and look good after Murray and the offensive line had softened up the opposing defense. I need to see him do it at the beginning of the game before I say he is the answer.

Murray was 40% of the offense because they allowed him to be. What about the previous 3 years that Murray did diddly? You are thinking as if Murray has done this for 4 years. One year. They gave him 400 carries. Did you see a ton of amazing runs by Murray? I didnt. I saw a guy running hard and getting the yards he was presented with. In 400 carries, how many big runs did he have? How many long TD runs? Not many. The big play element to Murrays game was almost rare. Low TD numbers also for the amount of carries he had. Thats because he didnt have any long TD runs to add to his short yardage ones.

What is an OPoY?

As far as Randle, I dont think he needs to be the answer. These RB's have other strengths that Murray didnt posses. Linehan will gear the RG to those strengths.

No one is going to tote the rock 400 times like Murray did. Murray wont even do that in Philly this year.

Murray was injury prone. He just happen to have healthy year.

Unless a team has a bad QB, it's really hard for a RB to win MVP.
The OPOY is a round about way to still reward great play at the position.
If a guy rushes for 1800 yards, he did have a great year.

Having said that, I'm pretty sure Murray was only the 3rd or 4th best player on just his offense.

Here is what might happen. #88 in Dallas and #88 in Denver got almost the identical contracts.

There is talk about some silly collusion going on between the two teams.

Both #88's have the same agent.

There is talk about which #88 is the better receiver.

Romo's team damn near out performed Payton Manning's team in a loss.

Payton Manning is hailed as the GOAT.

Romo has a "choker" label attached to him by a fool(s).

The Cowboys play in the NFC. The Bronco's play in the AFC.

These teams will play each other in the Superbowl.

Revenge will be sweet.

They used to this back in the early 90s, too.

It wouldn't be football season if the "experts" didn't predict the Cowboys to finish second to a beloved northeastern team.

They allowed him and he helped produce 1,800 plus yards rushing and this team got over the 8-8 hump with a 12-4 record. In 2013 Murray went to the Pro bowl as well and many were down on Garrett because despite the rushing of Murray he did not run the ball enough to win some critical games. As for big runs he was 2nd in the NFL in runs of 20 plus yards and tied for 1st in rushes of 40 plus yards.

Maybe you should worry more about your fellow cowboys fans rather than the experts. Plenty of them think the same thing.

Are you ever going to get over losing Murray and move on? lol

Sure I'm ready for the season right now. I hope the RB we have can go out and prove themselves to be top RB, I hope to see a much improved defense that can shut teams down. I like Murray I have nothing against the guy he went out and gave his best, he was a great guy in the locker room and established some close ties to players like Romo, Witten and Dez who all respect him, as a fan why would I not feel the same.
What I will not do is act like a brat fan and act as if Murray role was nothing and anyone could have done it because if Dallas felt that way then Randle would have been getting a lot more of the workload than Murray. The reason Murray started and took the large load is because they felt he was the better RB.

Murray's LONGEST run last year was 32 yards. No home-run threat what so ever in his best year. Randle ran one for over 60 yards and will do so consistently with our OL.

But Murray got them "dirty yards"...

????? My fellow Cowboys fans? lol..... I call it like I see it not here to appease fans who seldom agree on anything. lol

I think Dallas can win I expect them to win the East and challenge for a title, I see a lot about this team I like. If there is one area that I am concerned with it is RB. I hope to see Randle and McFadden do great

That would be longest TD run he had 3 runs over 40 plus tied for 1st in the NFL.
