When you've carried the Star for so many years into GLORY, you have every right to comment on WHY it's no longer that way. Would much rather hear former COWBOY greats giving our guys a hard time than current guys on any other teams roster.

But, they are disappointed in Romo and Williams thus far. Therefore, in the simplistic viewpoint some have, they are instigating "haters" who just need to retire gracefully.

Except 99% of the time, it's the critics who are slapped with that tag, and always as a pejorative. Yes, wanting Dallas to succeed is on everyone's "agenda," but too often that word is used as a cudgel around here.

When did the Cowboys become akin to a communist country (only say "good" things, comrade or go to Siberia to be silenced forever) - they have an opinion.

They had better runs than the current crew and are probably as disgusted at the losses as anyone especially Irvin and Smith. Irvin suffered through the worst season in Cowboy history and had a list of players for Johnson to cut. He thought those players wanted a paycheck while Irvin wanted a trophy and a ring. Irvin has a history of winning - maybe his attitude needs to be infused in the ultra mellow Cowboys coaching staff!

Recent string of embarrassing losses sure has me surly, why not them? In a word - underachievers seems to fit.
