I know everyone is, but for me personally I am just bummed.

I am not mad. I am not upset. I have no deep rooted thought process as to why we lose a game like yesterday. The x's and o's basically arent even interesting to me this morning to go back and see where the problems came from. Like I could anyway.

I am just bummed. Nothing will ever change about me being a fan of this team. I am either to stupid to find something else to occupy my time on non gamedays or to devoted. I am pretty sure it is the latter.

When a pro team loses and you feel as bas as I(we) do i am pretty sure it means your a good fan.

I am most disapointed in the fact that, imo, I think a win yesterday would have won the division. I think it would have had this team so high that we would have found a way to beat san diego. Now I am not sure we stay within 1 score of SD.

this loss will effect the city, and then effect the crowd on sunday which will now be most likely pretty crappy. Whatever they have left they have to muster up to beat SD. IF they dont I am not sure how bad it could get.

My hats off to the giants. IMO, the giants and cowboys are built the same way and are kind of the same team. Yet, seemingly everytime our team should take a step forward the giants find a way to do it. they are the better team and they always seem more prepared than we do everytime we play them. Its like they expect to be behind at some point. Our team seems to struggle when we lose a lead, always has.

Anyway, hats off to the giants because once again they did what we can not do. And because of that we maybe watching the giants and eagles in the playoffs while we all sit back and listen to our team be used as a punchline again.

and I'm Just bummed.

I am suprised. This is a different team than in the past, a better one imo.

I didnt expect them to fall victim to the same mistakes that the other teams had in the past.

I wouldn't even be that upset if the Giants had found a new way to beat us offensively. But they came out and did exactly what they did to us the last time we played, and the results turned out exactly the same. And our defense looked like they didn't have a clue how to stop it.

yep, watching on tv its hard to figure out stuff that happens in the secondary because you cant see it. But everytime we blitz, the middle of the field is open against them because they do such a good job of picking it up.

it was there against oakland too, they just couldnt complete the passes.

I am so scared of Rivers. he may go for 400 yards this week.

The three best performances I have seen against our team at the stadium are 1, Manning from this september, 2 Mcnabb in 04 on monday night and 3 Brady from 07.

I have to think rivers might jump in that group.

Now that I've had time to let the sting subside, I really can't think of anything spectacular the Giants did to Dallas. Dallas wasn't necessarily out coached in this game. It was the little things; penalties (or lack of) and tackling. Things that *CAN* be fixed for next week.

I was pissed last night.

Today I'm annoyed.

I have nightmares of seeing Steve Smith WIDE OPEN in the middle of the field on third and long.

i'm bummed for you that you're surprised :(

we're not "different" or much better.

same (bad) coaching.

what's changed in all reality?

you're simply hoping for a miracle or magic when you expect different results with the same (lack of) preparation.

So many new expectations came crashing down in one game. The new attitude, the new locker room, Romo's maturity, special teams. It was a punch to the stomach and if we don't get our air back by Sunday, we are going down hard.

Another sick feeling is the fact the windows don't come along that often and I think (I might be wrong) that we are in a good talent window.

By the way, I didn't mean to imply Romo's maturity was in question after yesterday. That expectation was met.

Not bummed (maybe I'm just numb ;) )...
I'm also playing my "blind homer" card and thinking this team may still end up 11-5 (ok maybe 10-6) and playoff bound! For some reason (maybe because I'm just a fan & cannot control what they do) I think (HOPE) this team will "find it's man" against all this adversity it has thrust upon themselves and find a way to pull out wins down the stretch after most have given up all hope. I refuse to believe that SD is head & shoulders above Dallas or any other team on the schedule as a matter of fact (yes, even NO). Now, whether this team will PLAY up to it's potential is another story but I'll remain blindly optimistic b/c the alternative (being pissed off & hating everthing Dallas) takes too much time & energy!!:D

I can think of worse things in life than being bummed about the Cowboys losing yesterday.

I will say they've definitely had some bad luck with the way the schedule has played out. 2 road games, against teams in need of a win to save their post season hopes, after getting embarrased the week before. Seriously, how often does that happen.

But yeah, I'm not bummed. My Colts friend is already talking trash. He thought Dallas was going 5-11 this year. Every week, he predicts them to lose. I bet he'll brag about how he knew they'd lose.

Well I didnt mean to give that impression. I dont hate anything about the team. I really like this team, I like the players, I like their attitude, I think the coaches have done a good job all year.

that is why yesterday bums me out so much. It was an out of character game for this group, this year. It looked like last years team.

After hearing how down they were in the locker room after the game, all I can think is that they are looking for someone to point them in the right direction and there is no one there to do it. I do think that is an area where the head coach is extremely lacking.

So I am very worried about what the response will be sunday, and san diego is not a team you can have a bad half against and then pick up your game. you will be down 20 points in the blink of an eye if you do.

I wasn't implying that was your position, just seems to be the concensus around here after the loss yesterday, like the season is over or something.

This is the plight of the fan. The wins never outweigh the losses, even when you have twice as many wins as losses.

I was so pissed last night, because I really thought this year would be different, but why would it be it's the same cast of players.

my bright spot was Romo, could you imagine if he played bad

for me we faced 2 desperate teams away (GB Gmen) and failed both time

who wants it more, both times we didn't
