First , no doubt I wanted TB, why not? their "O" is terrible.
The Giants are a very dangerous team for anyone now, why? House Money: Eli has his win, TC has his job, the Pass Rush is going and Jacobs has come into his own. You can make the case that the Giants can now SURVIVE, a bad game from Eli.

Giants play welll in Dallas over the past 10 years (off the top of my head, just seems that way anyway)

The TO factor - HUGE, HUGE HUGE as great as Witten is, you don't win many playoff games when your primary target is a TE, the Giants can double Witten and make Crayton(a slotman by trade) Hurd(a depth player) Miles Austin(a depth player) TGlenn(played 3 plays this season) beat them one on one. The Giants can also choose to stack the LOS and stop MB3 and force Romo to throw to the aforementioned targets, trusting they can beat coverage.

Even if TO does play, he's not gonna be TO, he's been in a cast, and has not practiced -no doubt he'll be used as more a decoy...

What does all this mean for Dallas?

MB3 heavy,Barber is a Pro Bowl back - but the odd thing, even with our mammoth OL, the Cowboys are NOT a prolific running team, we throw 64% of the time i.e. The pass sets up the run. IF you stop the pass, you can limit MB3 then you can sit run, that's the scare for us.

No denying we've lost our comfort zone, at least some of it, we have not played well since Philly came in and beat us and we've been sluggish since then. We'lll need to get it back quick or our 13-3 season will mean ZERO in the grande scope of things.

The Cowboys defense is not great, despite all the Pro Bowlers, we have holes. and at times we play a very vanilla 3-4 almost a Parcellsish 3-4 ,which has infuriated many us, when you have bookends in Ware and Ellis and Spencer off the bench and Ratliff up the middle we need to turn the dogs loose.,you don't read and react. ! Simply said, you can pass on the Cowboys , we have a soft spot underneath moreso than deep.

Undeniably we are banged up - Gurode(the center) T-New, TO, these 3 are huge for us. ALL must play well. I'd be real nervous with Proctor v.s that front 4.

I don't make scoreline predictions, but IMO, this is going to be the best game of the post season. I think we show up, and then some. But the pressure is all on us.

Go Cowboys!:star:

LOL @ you shaking in your boots. Grow some. We're the better team and as long as we play like it, we'll be fine.

Man..

Grab those nuts, boobs, or whatever have you.

We are 13-3, we rolled for our last game. No doubt in my mind we could have been 14-2. We wiped the floor with Giants twice already, and they're missing their most dangerous offensive weapon - Shockey. With Shockey out, Roy Willy can grab his gonads too, and try to hit someone in the box. Put Newman on Burress, shade coverage his way - and we should be pretty well off in any zone we run. We will demolish the Giants line big time - you know the Wadester has something planned.

Just believe; quit doubting, and believe brother.

I'd rather have played the Skins or the Bucs, but all 3 possibilities(NYFG,TB,Wash) are all very beatable for the Cowboys. Gints get after the QB and run it strong, so i think this is the toughest matchup, so bring them on and we'll see what the 2007 Cowboys are made of;)

First, the only player that didn't practice last week was TO.

Second, TO has never been in a cast. He was in a protective boot and that came off a week ago. He's been jogging already. I think if TO has a pulse, he'll be in this game.

Get me.

Pittsburgh was not better than Jacksonville even at 100%. Even in their recent history, The Jags have had the steelers number.

2007 - Playoffs - 31 Jacksonville beats 29 Pittsburgh
2007 - Week15 - 29 Jacksonville beats 22 Pittsburgh
2006 - Week02 - 09 Jacksonville beats 00 Pittsburgh
2005 - Week06 - 23 Jacksonville beats 17 Pittsburgh

Now about us, If it was the Bucks it'll be Garcia knows us wah wah wah. If it was the Commanders it would be the Commanders beat us 2 weeks ago wah wah wah. Its the Giants, and now theres Wah wah wah. Can't live in fear, got to go out and play football.

Some numbers:

Giants had 100yds against Tampa on 30carries (3.3yds avg). Jacobs was held to 34yds and Bradshaw had 66yds.

47 of Bradshaw's 66 came in the 4th QTR with a 17-7 (then 24-7) lead. If Dallas can keep them from hitting the outside corner, they can limit them the same.

The LBs will have to key on the slot receivers and TEs (Boss) because they really have become Eli's security blankets.

Offensively, it really does hinge on Owens' health. But if he's limited, it's gonna be on Crayton, Hurd and Austin to step up and make catches.

Tennessee's backups did a great job of giving their team a shot today. You are correct, If Crayton/Hurd/Austin can step up, get open and catch the ball, they will take tons of pressure off of Romo and maybe open up the run game (which I hope we stick to) I think both Jones and Barber are better runners than Graham and he did ok against the Giants Dline.

No offense man, but you really have no clue what you're talking about. I understand your concern, but you're going way overboard and your reasoning is flawed.

Just settle down, and enjoy the win next Sunday. This team is getting healthy and are hungry for a win. The ******** NYFG aren't going to get in our way.

My perspective is this: If we're a Super Bowl-caliber team, we will win this game.

If we're not, we won't.

It doesn't get any simplier than that.

That's a good perspective. Also, if injuries kept us from achieving our ultimate goal, I'm still very proud of this team. All this negative attitude here is just unhealthy. I rather think positive, think that TO will heal up, think that Glenn will be back, think that everyone else can step up. We all know we are banged up, but there's nothing we can do but hope that we're be back to tiptop form come game day. All this shaking in the boots about Commanders, giants, just seems cowardly. :D

There are no excuses in this game. People have been pointing out problems on the Cowboys and everyone gives their record. They are going to be in a dogfight.

There are no more excuses only the end result. We will find out how good this team is.

A win will give us momentum into the Super Bowl and I honestly think we can beat NE if we are healthy.
