The Cowboys averaged almost 9 yards per carry. The Giants couldn't stop the run at all.

Yet, the Cowboys threw as may passes as they had rushing attempts on a night when Romo stunk.

John Madden always said, when he coached, he'd run a play until the other team proved they could stop it.

This SHOULD have been an ugly win with the Cowboys running the ball twice as much as passing it...

But of course, Garrett got pass happy again.

Yep, the defense blew it when we needed them to step up...BUT really, if the Cowboys were the Steelers, they would have passed the ball 15 times and run it 45.

Offensive coordinator is at the top of the list Jerry Jones should've spent 1.5 billion dollars on.

What about the Cowboys continued refusal to play press coverage. How many years have we complained about this? There is no point rushing that many players if we are going to stand 10 yards off the wr's on 3rd and 4. They will throw slants all day. If you are going to cover like that, you simply don't blitz. You HAVE to drop the lb's back in coverage to make up for it.

Sorry, Juke, but really Romo lost the game for cowboys. Second, our D was pretty bad. Third, Jerry was dumb to open the stadium today. It was kind of hot, especially inside the stadium with not much air flow it would have been hotter inside.

Anyway, same old and same old with Cowboys. Mostly always find a way to lose, even when pretty much dominating Giants D for most part. And yes our WRs, as media kept saying, including Roy might be just average at best.

Our D was just plain Bad especially DBs. But then our front 7 was bad. Ware seems like will be lucky to get 10 sacks this year.

I completely disagree. This wasn't play calling. Plain and simple, this one is on the QB tonight. Romo has yet to prove he plays big in big games and until he does this team will continue to be stuck where they are. Average to good, to very good at times, but losing when it counts most.

I think 9 times out of 10 Romo isnt oing to suck as bad as he did tonight. He always throws one of these types of games in there every now and again.

I didnt have any problem with the playcalling. If Romo had even been average tonight we wouldnt have lost. As it stands he just had a bad night.

Im more worried about the defensive play calling. Our lack of blitzing and inability to put pressure on the QB is making our secondary look pedestrian.

It was idiotic, and frankly it is hard not to doubt Romo after a performance lie this, maybe his psyche decided to blow ga,es in September and play well in December for a change, only thing I can think of.

it was pathetic all around except for the run game and run defense.

I was flipping out watching this game.

They slashed the Giants every time they ran the ball. It's like they couldn't win ugly because they had to put on a big show in the new stadium...ya know, entertainment vs football.

It should have been an ugly, grind out the yardage, control the clock kinda game.

But he WASNT average...the the OC should at some point, take that into conideration...especially when the running game is averaging 9 per carry!

Dallas can run at will, they can have the ball 40 minutes a game if they wanted to, they could be the most ferocious keep away offense EVER but they try and "balance" things by turning the ball over.

...this is just bad...and i'm done with them for a while...i won't do this again this year...after tonight i think that Romo, Garrett and Phillips have a lot to answer for...inexcusable performances to go around...

...Romo had them up 24-20 then three and out for NY and then the ill-advised sling to Hurd...the defense went home after that...

...mark this down...this gunslinger crap only works in the NFC North...the NFC East division has too many good cornerbacks and safeties...

...someone should paste that on Romo's forehead permanently...

Youre right which is why alot of the pass plays called in the second half were short yardage high percentage plays, which Romo couldnt even seem to complete.

Romo looked tepid the whole night. Im not sure if it was the grand stage or some kind of look the Giants were giving him on defense. He just didnt look comfortable.

I wasn't one of the guys who was calling for Garretts head at the end of last season. But I am thoroughly disgusted with tonight's play calling.

Hey QBs have rough games so I'm not really that upset at Romo. It really shouldn't have mattered though. We shouldn't have thrown the ball 20 times tonight.

What was even more peculiar was "when" he chose to abandon the run completely. Each time it was just after we had a long predominantly run oriented drives for TDs where we were dominating the line of scrimmage.

Needless to say my blind optimism towards Garrett has just ended. I need to know the offensive coordinator can adapt his gameplan on the fly to what is actually happening in the game. Is that too much to ask for?
