I'm not sure I've liked Lee's play in the 43 so far

Sean Lee will be fine if he stays healthy.

Overall, everyone on this team has been extremely mediocre through 2 games.

I know it's early, but we do stupid things. We made this switch back to the 4-3 a year after we devoted basically our entire draft to drafting Morris Claiborne. Now, he may not be a good fit in a 4-3. Sean Lee, oft-injured but a proven star in the 3-4, was just given a massive long-term extension. A few weeks later, it's starting to look like he might not be the same player in the 4-3. We could've at least waited half the season to see if 1) he's gonna stay healthy, and 2) he's the same player in the 4-3.

Agreed. This is the biggest problem a lot of folks have with this team. I'm personally driven nuts by poor high draft picks or getting guys contracts way before they need to. Clearly they don't always make these mistakes (Spencer) but it happens enough to be an irritant.

For the record I think Lee will be fine in the 4-3. I've learned to have faith in his ability to adjust. Early returns on Claiborne don't look good but with his injuries and scheme change I haven't completely given up on him (however I'm leaning that way). Maddening given the move up to get him.

Carter and Lee are seeing less protection in this version of the 4-3 than in a 3-4 that had 5 guys who you need to block.
It is concerning how easily blockers got to them but KC did a really good job in that area.
I saw one play where Lee was blocked by two different guys on a play to the outside. Hard to get through that.

It was a tough game with Romo's ribs being sore. KC and fatty deserve credit.
But we have to get better and hopefully started Monday.
