I completely agree. I couldn't stand Garrett's pass happy play calling and ESPECIALLY his clock management (which had some to do with not running enough). He seems to have figured out both and has the whole team on the right track by just focusing on hc duties. I used to want him fired and now I want to see an extension.

The only player I think extending Garrett will have a direct impact on the negotiations is Rolando McClain. He was quoted recently as saying he wants to see what happens with the coaching staff before he agrees to resigning. Dez and Demarco are seeing dollar signs right now and given the cap situation, it may be difficult to keep both of them. Here's hoping they can figure out a way to get both deals done.

No, while retired Ro McClain put his future in Nick Saban's hands in terms of teams he should play for. According to what I have read, Saban gave Garrett his seal of approval.

It is Jason that hasn't signed an extension, he really wants the Giants head coaching job. With the Giants sucking this year no way the keep Coughlin another year. Either that or he wants the SF job once Harbaugh leaves

Well, don't hold your breath on those two... They seem to get far more enjoyment (and likes) from bad play in Dallas than they do when Dallas looks like one of the best teams in the NFL.
