Thats all i have heard this off sesason from the national media. and im freaking tired of it. so they won the freaking super Bowl. i just re-watched our game with them in the playoffs. and despite all the mistakes we made. those freaking NFL refs stole that game with bad calls all day long. im never going to get over that rip-off. this year i want to beat those overrated bums into the ground. and im also tired of those cowboys haters at ESPN taking diggs at the cowboys all the time. and then we have fox bringing in another cowboys hater to join resident cowboys hater Joe buck. it's sickening.

refs give us plenty of calls. it's over get over it. if it wasn't for a few mental lapses by our players it wouldn't have mattered what the refs did.

I don't think Giants fans have been that overbearing, at least on the cowboys fans. Most of them lord it over the pats fans more than anything. All my giants fan friends (I live in NYC now) more or less say that the cowboys were the best team they faced all season and that they were lucky to win a close game in the playoffs.

Ok, so they dont' say "lucky", I added that part.

And you are correct to do so :D

BTW the refs didn't screw us nearly as much as we screwed ourselves in that playoff game. The Giants won...I'm over it and ready to see us kick their butts this coming season...and post-season.

The Cowboys have no one to blame but themselves. Most specifically, Jacques Reeves, Patrick Crayton, and Anthony Fasano.

We did plenty to lose that game on our own, but let's not let the refs off the hook either. The phantom offsides on Ware on 3rd down that led to their first score and the incorrect grounding call on Romo were huge moments in that game. On that subject, has the phantom offsides call on Ware been brought to the attention of the league? I don't want to see anymore of those this year. Although it is a testament as to how quick and smart of a player he is.

Right on the money. and how about that terribe 15 yard facemask call before the half that lead to the tying TD?that call should have been a 5 yarder. they gave the Giants calls all day long. it was a joke the crew that ref that game.that crew was known to always screw the home team. and they screwed us bigtime.

I would contend the offensive line as well.

The Ware situation with offsides just really pisses me off. It happened once, led to a score... happened AGAIN, led to a crucial score and we were told that the cowboys spoke to the league about reffing that play... and then it happens in a PLAYOFF game that leads to a TD.

no ***-ing way.

I don't disagree with you about the refs making some questionable calls... but you seriously don't think that the fans taking a loss well has anything remotely close to an effect on the game, do you?

The league REALLY needs to work on getting that right. Every time they call that on Ware (when he really wasn't offsides), it has brought back a big stop (or sack or fumble recovery) for Dallas.

That missed call can be a game changer, for sure.

Yea it was all our players fault. the refs were great and had nothing to do with it.that's a complete joke. i just re-watched that game. those refs should have been fired on the spot for how they called that game.they are a disgrace. yes the cowboys still could have won that game. but why should they have to overcome the refs too?.i hope we pound their butts into the ground this year. and Ware was not freaking offsides.

Dude, the reffing was the difference between a close loss and a close win. I agree with you.

But it took several parts of the team not functioning adequately plus the strategy of slowing down the game and using less possessions (which in hindsight I think was a terrible idea) to even make it a close game. If the cowboys were on top of their game (and the giants were clearly on top of theirs, I thought), then I think the cowboys win despite reffing calls.

Give credit where it's due, and fault as well. The O-Line had a terrible second half, the secondary gave up a DUMB TD right before the end of the first half, and obviously the drops by Crayton/Fasano didn't help.

I might add... living in NY.... alot of Giants fans are still wondering how they went on that run.... AND.... still amazed that they won SB.

They know it was luck and getting hot at the right time.

Romo missing a wide-open owens did not help either. i agree with you that we had players who did not step up and make bigtime plays. but with a fair call game we would have won it anyway. i just re-watched it. and it made me mad all over to see how the refs stole that game.it is still sickening.

I wish Romo was as accurate to Owens as he was to Crayton. Ehhhhh whatever.

Yea he got hit on that pass. but he has got to hit that pass for a TD. yes the OL had a bad second half. but there were times when Romo had time, and he flatout missed the reciever. and the recievers failed too. but the fact is we would have won anyway if the refs had not screwed us out of it. i will always be bitter about it.
