Riddle me this: What's more of a killer?

1. A WR dropping a pass on 2nd & 8 to create 3rd & 8

or

2. A veteran QB retracting like a slug and taking a field position killing sack on 2nd & 8 to create 3rd & 18 while looking very much like a rookie

Please advise.

Thanks.

Please advise.

There both bad when your Oline sucks, You know their pinning their ears back on anything longer then 3rd and 3. You just made a bad situation worse, now you have our beloved statue of a QB being blitz. Get the punter ready. Would have been so much better to hand the ball off to JJ and let him scamper down the field for 38 yards setting up 1st and goal at the two, incomes BarberIII and 6 points. Hopefully our kicker makes the extra point.

Our oline gave up sacks but Bledsoe also holds the damn ball waaaay too long. Sacks are gonna happen but when your QB does have time, he has to hit the OPEN reciever especially when he's OPEN for 6. With the play of the oline, we still had a chance to tie the game but Bledsoe couldn't get the job done, AGAIN just like in Jacksonville. He really is hampering our offense...

I WILL TELL you whats worse...a star who:

is putting up mediocre stats
having problems with coaches
wont talk to coaches
is sick alot
overdoses on medication thereby causing too much attention to himself
writes a book
gets hurt alot
drops balls
doesnt run out routes when he should
cries when he doesnt get the ball and he is getting most of them thrown his way!
is an idiot

This is a ridiculous post. Your hatred for TO is obvious and is getting in the way of whats really happening with our offense.. Wake up!!!

This thread has inspired me to post a poll. oh nm. I don't know how to post one. I will say some of you are in denial of you're focusing solely on TO being the one and only problem. I consider him a much smaller issue that the issues we currently have at QB. I hope he can stand the Texans blitzes. We shall see.

I'm glad some of you are happy with mediocrity. I find that word to be very evil.

8-8... 9-7 at best and 1st round playoff fodder. That's us with Drew at the helm for the rest of the year.

I DONT HATE TO...i hate what he does to a team...anyone who takes off their homer glasses can see it...if you still have them on then i understand your poor vision...he is a cancer and that cancer is now growing whether you know it or not...they key to cancer is early detection!

No homer here. I'm just impervious to the media bias and can see the bigger picture. TO is not the problem. TO is a competitor. He's a vocal competitor. This is something we've lacked since the days of Michael Irvin. I embrace seeing someone on the sidelines fired up. I wish more of the team would express their interest in obliterating the opponent on Sunday. If that were the case the boys would be 3-1 right now.

Also, please don't mistake me for a TO apologist. I had mixed feelings about him when I heard he was coming but now that he's here wearing a star my popcorn is ready and buttered.

Parcells said he preached minimizing mistakes and protecting the ball this week. Let's see if Bledslow can put some numbers in the TD column instead of the INT column.

Yes, the key to being 3-1 is more players screaming at everything with a pulse on the sideline. The key to football has been discovered, all we have to do is scream at each other and we will win. Fantastic.

No. We'd be 4-0 right now.

OMG its the Qunicy argument all over again. Some people think that he can't do any right and some that he can't do any wrong.

TO has strengths and weaknesses. He is a great athlete and his hands and route running are marginal. He if a firey competetor, who happens to let it get out of hand too frequently. He is a self agrandizing personailty, and that can be a bad thing quite frequently.

TO has not been good so far this year, hes definately not worth anywhere close to his contract, but then again he never was likely to be worth anywhere near that contract. Only the top QB's can come close to being worth 10 million in the first year of a contract.

Unfortunately TO can't throw the ball to himself. If could he would easily be worth much more than 10 mil per.
