Me too, but I had it on DVR, so later, I tried to start over and see what happened, and found myself way behind the actual broadcast. My wife thought I was nuts.

I did that same stunt earlier this year and made certain it didn't happen again.
Like tonight I got out a tape,labeled it, rewound it and loaded it, hit record and pause to be ready. Stupid tape kept ejecting ,after the third time I took it out and found someone had broken off the tab that prevents taping over.
Really scrambled then ,but made it.

what i liked about tonights game, is the Cowboys didnt panic when they blew chances to score on the first two drives. They merely kept attacking at will and broke through in the 2nd quarter.

You can do this when your defense is a powerhouse. This is why defenses win championships. If it takes time to get your offense in gear, your defense can keep things close until you get things ironed out.

Sometimes it just takes time to figure out the opponents defense, and while you're getting the right plays to work, you need that defense to shut things down or keep them really low.
