I'm worried! Can this team handle Success and keep it going?

..haha, yep. Thats been this franchise's problem for over decade. Maybe this year is different? Will see...
Falling flat in a game a team is supposed to win is not a problem unique to the Cowboys, we just feel it more because we’re fans. The Rams were double digit favorites against the Panthers. 10+ points in the NFL is enormous and should be an easy win. Ain’t what happened, though.

I will holler in the holler when we see success, good lad.
Have you seen it? Do you mean 6-5-1
I mean 3 wins in a row, with 2 of them being back to back against the 2 teams that played in the Superbowl last year.
This is not success to you?

Before you have long term success you must have short term success.

We’ve done it more than most teams in big games. How many times have we been the #1 seed in the NFC and lost to an underdog?
More than anybody probably!

worrying is not going to help anything. it's up to the coaches to gameplan and the players to continue to execute.

That's all.
Of course not, but that’s what most diehard fans do before or especially during the game.
You never get nervous or worried before or during a game?

You should be worried. Margin for error is almost nothing and 30 years of coming up small in big spots. Be worried.
You sound like you are hoping we lose.

I understand there is little margin for error, but over the last 3 weeks this team has shown me a lot. They have been tough in the trenches against 2 physical teams.

If Shotty and the other coaches have solid game plans we could definitely go on a run!!!

Winning three games in a row is hardly success and I feel they realize this. There's a long way to go and I believe they understand the journey. Go Cowboys
It’s called short term success. If we had lost any of those games we realistically would not have had chance to make the playoffs.

I don't know, its usually time for the Cowboys for a wake up call. That is when they fold. Losers lose, winners win. Pretty boys don't do it, if they are committed as a team to go get it, don't let it come to you.

Go pet a Lion...then come back, but if those cats claw your sweet little eyes out? Tough luck. Dallas Cowboys. Losers until further notice.
Sounds like your a jealous Buffalo fan or Cleveland fan.

A win streak happens because a team is focused and motivated.
That is more because of the coach then any other factor

we will really know how good Schotty is by the end of the season
Agree completely! Coaching matters a lot, especially this year with no dominant teams.
Get it done Shotty!!!! Go Cowboys!!!!

I see.
The Egirls and Chiefs wins were impressive.

Handling prosperity has always been difficult for the Cowboys since the 90's teams went away. The main reason is the amount of media and hype that engulfs them anytime they even sniff the tiniest hint of success now. Back in the day yeah the media loved the Cowboys but it was not one tenth of what it is now in terms of 24x7 attention. Those guys rented a house out and staffed it with ****** and coke dealers and the media never found their way into it. Can you imagine them attempting any such thing now? It's difficult for any human being to hear how great you are over and over and over and over and not have it affect you. And then you add in that a lot of today's media ONLY pumps you up so they can tear you down later and you get what you get. Our only hope is that Schottie is young enough and savvy enough to relate to his guys while being old and wise enough to manage all that attention. Like placing limits on appearances.. media access et al. Force guys to keep their eyes on the prize. If he fails to do that then this team will repeat the sins of years past. They will beat Detroit then forget to show up against the Chargers or Vikings. Time will tell.
Even the 90’s teams were susceptible to the hype which prompted Haley to once say, “we’re only 2 losses in a row from complete chaos.”

What helps is even with these last 3 wins their backs are against the wall. They are forced to be nearly perfect just to have a chance at a wildcard spot and they still need outside help.

Not at all. Just being honest. A 30 year narrative is hard to change.

3 wins in a row, with 2 wins against the 2 teams that played in the Super Bowl the year before, is success for any team Mr. Philly.
If we keep winning that percentage will go way up. As a big part of the Philly fan base you did not realize that did you?

Yeah like last week when they kicked your Ugles butts!!
What brain rot AI are you?

You said basically the same thing in 3 different replies to the same post, bot.

This is my worry too. Can the Cowboys handle success? In the past it seemed like just when you thought they were over the hump the lost a game in a bad way. They are in a playoff situation now where 1 loss virtually eliminates them, especially a loss to the Lions. And we know how they perform in the playoffs.

If the coaches put solid game plans together and the players execute the game plans, without to many penalties or mistakes, I definitely think we have the talent to win 5 in a row and do some serious damage in the playoff. This team is different physically! We match up in the Trenches!!

Physically this team can do it. Mentally I hope they can, but they still need to prove it. Again the coaches need solid game plans. This worries me too. We looked wildly inconsistent earlier in the season due to poor game plans on both offense and defense. (See Arizona game )

Can our players and coaches handle success and keep the winning streak going?
Well for one,

we all worry about that, But so far they've won three in a row, back to back games ,where they could have already smelled themselves and had a disappointment, easily could have lost going down 7 to nothing to the Chiefs given they just had a big time comeback three days earlier, they could have been high living off those fumes, but they didn't they've won three in a row ,tells me they're handling success a little bit better this year, than before...

I agree can they continue to do this especially this competition right now, the Lions being as injured as desperate the Cowboys are, playing on the road, I mean if they're going to have one of these let downs, it's going to be Thursday night another prime time game another late night game,

i'm really tired of all this, I prefer 17 noon games and let's just do it..lol

Pull the band AIDS quickly,

Gives me all day to recover,

this year is the strangest scheduling I've ever seen, they had a Monday night game against the Raiders, turned around to a Sunday afternoon against the Shegals, Three days later play the Chiefs on another Thursday game ,and then we don't get the 10 days off we have another, Thursday game against the Lions....

All these prime time games are shocking that the league still sees the Cowboys even after a bad year ,even after this very long drought, they keep being put on primetime games, it's insane!! :omg:

These other fan bases are like drooling to have some primetime games, and I'm telling them ,they can have all they want, I hate evening games..

So much anxiety, whether it's good or bad, you're hyped up, you have all this adrenaline, it affects my sleep, it ruins the next day. lOL

I don't know is this different for the players than for some of the fans like me, who don't enjoy this, maybe it's keeping them off balance enough, that they don't have time to think.. You know maybe a long 10 days before the Lions would have been worse, you know like sometimes after the bye week, the Cowboys have seemed to not play very well, too much time to overthink game plans, and what not...

But I guess we do have the 10-day layoff after the Lions game, with back-to-back home games, That should be nice...

So, I hope the letdown is not tomorrow night, but I could see where we have done this in the past and have, they changed I don't know.

From The outside ,it does look like they have, since the bye week when you win three in a row back to back against the Eagles and the Chiefs, That's a pretty good indicator that they haven't had a letdown, yet, in their minds they're not overconfident, they still know everything is almost a playoff atmosphere every game..
