I'm not trying to change your opinion of these RBs we have now. I don't think there's anything I could say to do that anyway, so I'll let them do it their selves on the field. They will back up my words through their actions.

You have nothing to back up your opinion , but hope. No facts, just hope.

What we lost might not have been elite, but it was dam sure better than anything we got left on the roster by a far margin.

Why do you think the team offered Murray $6 million a season and are paying McFadden and Randle combined the price of a happy meal?

Do you seriously think the team would have offered that much money to our non-elite RB if the guys still on the roster could do the same job for peanuts?

I just don't think Murray is all that special. None of our Backs are. Our O-Line is though.

And all the analytical knowledge in the world to prove my point changes nothing in the reality of the Cowboys roster. No thank you, I'd rather bask in my ignorance and enjoy the seasons as it comes to me. Peace bro.

DMC is not on the O-line so your point is moot. Not his coach.

You realize that the blocking scheme the offensive line coach teaches has to be learned by the running back.............this is like football 101 fellas, come on.

There is even articles about how McFadden could not adjust to Frank Pollack's zone blocking scheme. Pollack is now our new offensive line coach and he is using the same zone blocking scheme in Dallas that he used in Oakland that McFadden could never adjust to.

This is an excerpt from the article talking about how McFadden struggled with the same zone blocking scheme we are now using....................

"Pollack is the Cowboys’ offensive line coach. McFadden is the team’s newly-acquired running back. Both were together for one miserable season in Oakland back in 2012. That year, the Raiders finished 4-12 and ranked 28th in rushing yardage as McFadden turned in one lousy performance after another. He averaged a career-low 3.3 yards per carry and didn’t adjust well to the new zone-blocking scheme Pollack and offensive coordinator Greg Knapp had implemented"

Pollack is using Callahan's system. Also, I think this is an issue of chicken or the egg. Watching Oakland is to watch OL fail at the poa and cutting off pursuit. It's hard to learn a system when the OL never blocks it remotely as it's drawn up. It's one thing if the blocker cannot sustain or doesn't get push. It's completely another when penetration is consistently given up and DL are dictating the los.

Demarco Murray was criticized constantly for running to darkness when Livings, Costa, and bad Free were put on skates and whiffed for him. Veldheer was on that line of DMC I think but the guards were UDFA types and currently out of the league. Barnes and Wisniewski were all but busts.

Sticking you foot in your mouth and insisting it tastes great... that I see from you about this. McFadden will be fine this year. Wait and see... then have some crow.
