Impressed by:
1. Romo's presence, mobility
2. RB breakaway runs
3. Dallas' run defense
4. Owens and Witten in the mid-range
5. Parcells' willingness to go more to the pass
6. The Boys' comeback and then its killer instrict (for once)
7. The Corners' play overall.
8. The physicality the 'Boys showed this week and particularly in the 2nd quarter.
9. O-line's blocking. At times it was like the parting of the Red Sea in the second half.
10. Kicking Game
Not impressed
1. By our kickoff and punt returns
2. The defense's inability to get to the QB
:bang2:
3. The 'Boys' defense of mid-range passes in the early going
4. Receiving technique. Twice, Al Michaels pointed out correctedly, that the receivers were running too close to the sidelines and attempting to make the catch after they were out of bounds. Mr. Todd "Salad" Haley did not adjust. And he seems to favor those anemic sideline passes.
5. Dallas is still not embracing the vertical passing game. I feel that throwing deep to Glenn and Owens could being BIG dividents. Romo has more time to throw the ball and has shown he can hit the target. Witten is our go-to-guy in the midrange. We've got two stud WRs. let's us them even more.
