The team was 16-16 going into tonight's match up in games decided by 7 or less points. Smack dab down the middle. It just doesn't get any more mediocre than that. Thanks to the inability to apply creative innovative solutions on the offensive side of the ball, we lost a game that we could have easily competed in. The lack of accountability from the coaching ranks is astonishing. If a college coach was putting in uninspired leadership performance after performance he would be on the street.

We are fast approaching 8-8 yet again. Most fans have grown weary of the same ol story. Many of us are worn down from year after year of subpar performance. Tonight's defensive effort was highly offensive!

Here we sit at 5-5 with an upcoming schedule that could push us to 9 losses. This team has lost its way. The old head leadership that has been guiding the rest of the players in the locker room has lost its collective desire to triumph over adversity. This team needs an intervention and it need to happen quickly before the young talent absorbs the mentality of the old heads.

What an atrocious effort tonight... Just plain embarrassing.. Jimmy Johnson would be primed to release someone after this type of effort. I miss those days. This train wreck leadership has no clue.

We may not see 7 wins. Wow. Although we have puled in a number of players to cover injuries, the fact that we've had to go to the FA well so often speaks directly to our lack of prep for contingency. Yet another coaching faux pas. Garrett has no clue. My intention for posting this stat was to demonstrate his direct propensity for mediocrity. We're never going to win a Super Bowl with a HC that thrives in the middle of the pack.

It should hurt.

Being dominated should hurt and be informative about the real, true, state of the team.

This was not a bad luck getting beaten game. This was getting outcoached, outplayed and just destroyed type of game.

The real signal about the direction of the team is how they respond.

They will either fold or fight.

It should be interesting to see how they respond playing the Giants who appear to believe in themselves again, just as we are starting to have self doubt.

Does anyone know when the ".500" is measured? Is it at game-time, or at the end of the season? For example, if we beat a team that is 1-0, does that count as beating a team over .500, even if the team finishes 1-15?
