Tom Brady Fell Out Of A Boat
Posted by Josh Alper on June 9, 2009, 12:12 p.m.
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady fell out of a kayak into the Charles River over the weekend, according to the Boston Herald.
A spokesman for Community Boating confirmed that Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchen rented kayaks on Sunday, but the Herald relied on other sources for the details of the story.
“He had to be rescued,” said their spy. “The launch guy went out and got him and got him back in the kayak. He’s been bragging about it ever since. He’s telling everyone he rescued Tom Brady.”
The spy added that it looked like everyone was having fun and that the situation was more embarrassing than dangerous.
Brady’s surgically repaired knee seemed no worse for the trip into the drink during the Patriots’ golf outing on Monday. He came in second to Tedy Bruschi in the long drive contest and team spokesman Stacy James told the Herald that Brady looked fine.
The Patriots are holding their 12th and final scheduled OTA of the offseason on Tuesday.
