I will answer myself and say, probably. But, what I don't like is injured players traveling to away games.

For instance, seeing Miles Austin on the sideline smiling during a critical game. Ware, standing around not contributing nothing. What good is it that Murray travels with the team if he's not going to play? (yeah, right it was a game time decision). Who else that was injured traveled to the game?

Even at home games, why have these injured players even on the sideline? What? Moral support, or just to join in on the fun, win or lose. Earlier in the year before Spencer took his coin and walked he was on the sideline, beard and all, joking smiling, fooling around, contributing nothing at all.

If it were up to me any player injured and not playing in the game have no business on the sideline and need to either stay home or get a ticket to the game. Not to mention travel costs, hotel rooms, meals, and all around distractions that the players that are going to be playing really don't need.

Is this petty on my part? Maybe, because I do not see any benefit for injured players to be anywhere around a game they are not going to be involved in.

Yeah, I saw that, it did nothing for me. Dez kept it up even after Ware tried to calm him down. If Ware were not there, nothing about the game would have changed.

I guess in my feeble mind, it would be sort of a punishment that if you can't play, stay home and either rest or rehab, I'll let you on the game day field when you are ready to play.

I actually agree with you on this. I just don't like seeing those guys over there smiling and joking around in their street clothes.

Parcells didn't allow injured players to travel unless they were game time decisions.

I think most teams do allow them to travel, especially the star players like Ware.

I think all teams allow them on the sidelines during home games.

What does this have to do with anything. They were hurt playing for the "team" they are part of the "team" and should be treated as such.
Hotel costs? lol seriously? Did was aready run out of things to complain about?
I tell ya what I dont like. Is when during pregame warmups they wear earbuds that dont match Cowboy colors.

What good does it do? I actually hate it...they don't contribute nothing to the game. Watching Miles smiling while not playing for the past games? Get your butt outta here, go rehab your hammy! Ware? Stay home fool! Someone else can take care of Dez! Murray? If you want to travel with the team and it's a game time decision and you can't go? Watch the damn game in your Hotel room, or by a ticket.

That was funny.

I'm serious...if it were up to me, not playing, stay home! Maybe that would give some incentive or motivation for the player to get his butt back on the field.

Yeah, they were hurt playing for the team, but they are not playing for the team right now.

OK. I just disagree. I feel that a member of the team should be with the team. They have trainers on the road and rehab while traveling. I dont think these pros need "incentive" to play. I like the idea of being together as a team win as a team, lose as a team. I like seeing Miles there and cant wait to see him healthy. He can offer things to Beasley and Williams that noone else can.

Well, that makes no sense at all. Rehab at home. And, what good did Miles being there help out in anyway? Nothing. The man cannot play football for weeks at a time, yet he gets to hang with players that have to go to war?

Injured players on the sideline are wasted space, just as much as if Jerry came down to the sideline.

What I saw from the injured players is that they were involved in coaching everyone up. Everytime offense or defense came off the field Ware or Austin were in the huddles with the others. I don't think having them hurts. Only one i did't see doing anything was Murray he just seemed to be there moving up and down the side line. Austin and Ware also were helping Orton stay loose, by playing catch with him. I can say this they almost all of them were active and involved in the game.

Does anyone know who the mini-fredrick is? There was a guy in grey sweatshirt that was always with the offensive line, at first I thought it was fredrick. The looked so much like him beard and all, he was a little smaller than fredrick

That's silly, it's the ultimate team game, they are part of the team and got hurt for the team. Forcing them to stay home would segregate them from the team environment that you're trying to build. You don't want the players feeling like they aren't wanted because they got hurt, that's the complete opposite of what you're trying to do in a team sport. Plus, for most players who actually care standing on the sideline is incentive enough, because they aren't out there to help the team and they want to get back out there to do their part.

You clearly dont understand what the word team means.
So quickly fans forget what a talent Austin has been because his body breaksdown. Ive seen Beasley AND Williams go directly to him after a series. Hes clearly playing some role to those guys.
Pls, stop with the "war" comments. Its a game. Miles has been through more "wars" than any other WR on that team.

Well put. Its the Dallas Cowboys, a team.

I hear you, bro, about helping coach the other players, but that is the coaches job. To many cooks spoil the food. How do we know that a coach might tell a player to do something then an injured playing trying to coach tell them something different?

IMO, if I were the coach? You cannot play, stay away.

What the hell could Miles offer Beasley? Advice on how to stay injured for years?

Yeah, I guess you are right. I've never been on a team or have gone to war.

Carry on.

Pretty sure Miles Austin has about 4 thousand more yards of experiece. Pro bowl?

He Is an oft injured journeyman reciever quit stroking these players and making them sound special. Thats part of the problem with this team now.
