It's crazy the absolute beating Romo takes. More than the average franchise QB. Even with the improved oline this year he has been blasted numerous times.
The problem is that EVERY defensive coordinator in the league knows that Romo holds the ball too long. On the play that Romo got hurt, the guy blitzed from the secondary. I mean c'mon, why have our coaches not worked on this? It's been this way for years. When you can't make teams pay for blitzing, they're going to pin their ears back and hit you all night. There's no reason for Romo to hold the ball that long, even when teams don't blitz.
Look at the statue they call Peyton Manning. He hardly never gets sacked. Is the Broncos OL just that good? no, he gets rid of the ball right away. How many times have you guys seen him scramble? hardly never, because he doesn't have to. Being an Olineman in Denver is the easiest job in the NFL.....
